The beginning was an important time in their relationship. With a little detour you ended with pretty much the same conclusion. Since they seem to have already gone through some of the thinking that happened later, maybe New Moon would not have existed. I, mostly, wouldn't mind having them both not have to go though that sadness.

I read this story for the second time last night and enjoyed it again. The interactions were very good and it's always interesting to see the same conversations in a different context. The way Bella tried to resist telling Edward that it was Jacob who revealed things to her was cool, but your last sentence was perfect. What a great ending to the story! Thank you.
