I liked Linda's shocked reaction to him asking her to stay - he might not know her that well yet, but he still cares about her a lot. I also love the way you write Ferb, since I can tell he's who you write from the perspective of the most. Since he doesn't talk much, Ferb's up to interpretation, and some do it better than others, but your portrayal of his thoughts is quite realistic and believable. Nice work! |

I loved how your focus is mainly on Ferb but you still shine some spotlight on the other characters. Especially here, with Linda. I LOVE her relationship with Ferb. It's adorably sweet yet very plausible. (I wouldn't be surprised if this was how the family's backstory went in Dan Povenmire's and Swampy Marsh's minds. You know how they're a sucker for backstories, especially Dr. Doofenshmirtz.) This story was just beautiful. Like, no kidding, I kind of shed a little tear when I was reading it. I liked how sincere Linda was. She's exactly the type of mom-oh, I'm sorry, I meant MUM-Ferb needs. Wonderfully done. Also, I am spellbound with your Ferbnessa stories and will review them as soon as possible. Great story arcs you have, too. (I'm willing to bet a million bucks that you were in a cloud of happiness for days after that Ferbnessa moment in "Act Your Age.") |
