Joan's tied with Annie for my second favorite character in the show. She fascinates me. I appreciate this POV more than I can say. If I'm not mistaken, your fic is the first I've encountered that's tackled this storyline. Now that I think about it, I'm amazed that that is so.

Joan's observations are so astute and very perceptive. Given the woman, I don't expect any less. I suppose she has a unique perspective due her position. She's known Auggie before and after his disability. She knows Annie's background and history. If I could've chosen the perfect person to ask to give me their views on Auggie and Annie, it would be Joan.

My favorite scenes: The ones with Joan and Arthur, hands down.

Needless to say, I love it. You couldn't possibly guess how much but go ahead and try. Bravo! And thank you.

This was a really interesting insight and different take on A/A's relationship, really enjoyed this!

I've read my fair share of CA fanfiction and this is by far my favorite story. Telling it from Joan's POV gives it a nice sense of objectivity while still maintaining a personal touch. Also, a lot of authors have done the whole "Annie's the only one who can calm Auggie down" thing, but the way you describe it makes it seem plausible and real. Kudos, friend. Keep writing. )

This is probably my favorite of the three stories I've read from you. I would love for you to continue this story (of Annie's forced week of vacation.) Either from Annie/Auggie's point of view, or again from Joan's POV.

Fantastic story. I love reading through Joan's perspective. She's often omnipresent, and she does it with such grace and subtlety. People don't give her enough credit for the important supporting role she plays to everyone's favorites.
