Obi-Wan sass. Qui-Gon sass. So different, and so well captured here. I cannot stop smiling. The idea that Qui-Gon dislikes this Jedi, and quite possibly sent Obi-Wan to Dex veeeeery purposefully is wonderful and delightful and amazing. I'm proud of Obi-Wan for listening to his master even when he so clearly wanted to fight. Fantastic!

Great story! I liked how you write everyone in the plot. The Jedi dialogue is something kind of foreign to me in terms of writing it, but you did such a phenomenal job. Not to mention the duel was exciting and I loved seeing Obi as a Padawan face down Krell, with a hint or two as to his future in the war.

Aww, that's great! Epic fights and wisedom lessons!

I feel sorry for Krell. He is the only one of his kind to be a Jedi (that we know of in this story) and the council always sends him on long lonely missions due to the fact that they can not control him. Sad

Obi-Wan is fantastic. A victory against Krell a scant two months after winning the Seva tournament :D i love your Obi-Wan so much! and i don't know how you do it - you show that he is brilliant, but without having him come across as overpowered.
Qui-Gon is amazing here too. Both humorous and insightful. Your Qui-Gon far outstrips the one in canon, it'll be like comparing a *junior* Padawan's lightsaber skills to Krell's.

Jajaja OMG I absolutely loved this! I love to see brilliant Obi-Wan and ever since I saw the Clone Wars chaps I wanted to see Obi-Wan and Master Krell duel.. I loved Dexter's intervention :D thanks for writing this, I had been looking for something of the like :D

Very entertaining story, I enjoyed it :) It's a good thing to have someone like Dex on your side, Obi-Wan's final triumph over his own desires and over Master Krell was (almost) all thanks to Dex's dinner and wise advice ;)

I love the way you write - I read in awe of your writing skills. The way you put words together - man.

Anyway, loved this story. Loved Obi-Wan determination to obey his master even when Garen was urging him to disobey, and when others were pressing him.

Fighting without the "wanting" to fight helped Obi-Wan keep his head during the fight. He wasn't so eager to "prove" himself against that huge Jedi (as apparently the others were) but instead used his head and out smarted him, then in the end won as much by his wits as by his skill. Probably what the Besalisk was looking for. Although it's too bad he re-hurt his knee in the process...he'll have one unhappy healer to face on that one.

ANOTHER great story! I don't know how you come up with all these ideas but there always so much fun to read! I really like how you got Dex involved! You should totally do a follow up with Knight Krell! He and Obi-wan have such different chemistry - not to mention the different characters of Krell and Qui-Gon! Very good read! Thanks!
