![]() ![]() ![]() This is such a wonderful story - I've no idea how I hadn't discovered this earlier (and I thought I'd read all SanSan there is to read, huh). I see it's been quite the long time since the last update, so perhaps this is abandoned, but even if that is the case it was still a great read so far. Thank you for sharing! |
![]() ![]() Thanks you for picking up this story, ti is one of my favourites and I hated that it was unfinished. I like the uncertainty you maintain between Sansa and Sandor: as much as they love each other they know they are hampered by themselves and others and somehow cannot be together until so much else is rectified. Good luck with more. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm so glad you are continuing this story! I remember loving the first chapter when I read it ages ago, and the second installment did not disappoint. I really liked Sandor's thoughts, particularly his memories of his time as a squire, and of course how you designed his fight with Gregor and how you tied it with Jaime/Cersei/Brienne. I loved that Brienne helped bring Gregor down. I'm really looking forward to reading what happens next. Not sure what direction you'll take, but one thing I loved in Egleriel's story were the scenes of Sansa and Sandor in Clegane Keep. I found them really interesting (in a sense it's like an inversion of their dynamics in a possible future Winterfell scenario, as it's Sandor who is Lord of the Keep) and I'm surprised it's not a possibility that is explored more often in fics. Can't wait to see what you've got for us in store! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I'm beyond thrilled that you've taken up this story again! But shame on you for leaving us with this kind of a cliffhanger. I eagerly await the next chapter, my friend. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Loved it! Sweet and sad! Wish you'd continued! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Really liked this - please, continue! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I just found this and really like it. I've read "A Song of Steel" and it's one of my favs-I love San/San. I look forward to an update on this. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is a good story and now I have to go and read Egleriel, a Song of Steel. I hope you continue with this story. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I just found your story and wanted to say thank you, I though it was wonderful and truly hope you write more, I'm new to this ship and am finding it hard to find good reading. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh my gosh, I'm so happy I found your story. I'm just in love with Egregial's story "A Song of Steel" and was so deflated to see it's unfinished. I was dying for a proper end... To see if Sansa and Sandor could possibly marry and get the happily ever after they seemed so close to achieving. I think you've captured much of the quality writing, description, and beautifully written characters of the original. Can't wait to read more. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was very moving. Thank you for it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yaaay! You do know there can NEVER be too much SanSan fan fiction in this world! Keep it coming! :D |
![]() ![]() ![]() this is good. You know the sole criticism i have of Egleriel's fic is the lack of sex. |
![]() ![]() ![]() great start! it works as a stand alone fic but i'll be sure to read the one that inspired it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you so much, everybody! I'm so grateful Egleriel let me play in her world, you have no idea. Will update ASAP, for sure. :) silverswath: I was kind of hoping people would read the A/N first, just to avoid worries like that. But thanks! Laura en eryn: I have approximately 6 chapters planned for my first arc (it may be 5 or 7 depending on how they divide up), and then I have another 2 written for the next arc, with some ideas of where I want to go after that. They're all pretty long chapters, mind... |
