This is so beautifully written. It's not melodramatic at all, but you've been able to convey so many emotions, and evoke so much in the reader (well, me.) They don't seem very OOC; I can see them acting like that. Maybe they are a little less headstrong/defiant than usual, but as you said, it is AU. Maybe you need a little more imagery? I don't know, since I tend to go overboard on that. But seriously, I can't find much to fault about this. It's beautiful :)

I'm just curious, though: why is this title 'Autumn'? Most of your spelling is American. Do Americans call fall Autumn, sometimes? Is this question offensive?

This was a lovely sweet story that, yes, could have erred on the side of cheese, but I don't think it does because of the great descriptions, the excellent attention to grammar, and the way you did the non-linear format. The only thing is (and maybe you did this) but in the description put 'no wings' or 'AU' because I was expecting something in the canon, and even though I loved it, it threw me a little trying to figure out where this all fit in.

I would love to see you do more for MR - we're definitely in need of talented writing in some ways :)
