I have to admit, I had to use the Translator a couple of times too, but mostly I managed. Maybe that's because Czech is similar to Polish, which is my native tongue :)

This was cute and interesting. But I wonder how loaning Kurt Blaine's notes (written in English) could help Kurt study for tests given in English, unless they're going for rote-memorization, rather than learning. I'll just assume that's Kurt's English is like my Spanish: he can follow/figure out written and (slowly) spoken English, but has difficulty in initiating/speaking English. That's workable :) Good story :)

It was a good story, but I am so tired of people thinking foreigners can't understand English...
In Norway we have english classes from we are 5/6 years old, so most teenagers understand English perfectly, and then most of us learn a third language at 12/13. I think a lot of other nations have it the same way.
With that said, I loved your story:)
