This story was so well written! I loved how you set it out to create the battle and the fights, and I was hooked to the end!

Yet another fanfic for my long list of favorites.

An excellent story, overall well written with both emotion and action of high quality.
So the one or two small flaws unfortunately stand out...please, please do not put colloquialisms or slang into a serious story like this. I was all wrapped up in the battle until I read the sentence "He fell on his ass". Fell back, fell to the ground, but not fell on his ass, please.
Like I said, this only stands out because the rest of the story is so good.

An intriguing setup. I'm assuming this is a setup of the OoT world in the child timeline, where Hyrule rallies to wage a conventional war against Ganondorf?

It fits as core fantasy, a practical medieval battle ends with the impractical duel of the Captains, fulfilling that need for epic war that sits in the heart of all Zelda fans yet remains unfulfilled
