Sweet Jesus I needed this!

So many years, and this is still the best fanfic I've ever read. It's 13k words of pure bliss, and taking it all in takes me about three hours every time I have another try. Reading through the clever wordplay and realistic, three dimensional character potrayal - two people who love each other very much, just slowly exploring their blooming relationship, with no unnecessery drama, and a sense of profound intimacy, serenity and mutual respect - is perhaps the most charming experience I've ever had on this site. Kudos to you.

Cute, sexy and beautiful all in one story - I am so happy I came across this. Reading Wes and Rui flail over days and weeks trying to figure out their own relationship made me bubble up inside and the lack of unnecessary barriers and drama gives the story a really mature slant. Because there's no distracting drama going on they can work out their feelings in the "purest" way and explore their way to an intimate relationship - this is how I was interpreting it, anyway. Not to mention all the facets to their personalities. They're almost 4D and it totally reflects the diversity and irrationality of how real people behave. Plus, those two lines at the end made me laugh. Rui is so adorkable.

Wow. The in-depth and emotions to this is amazing. This isn't random smut or something, they're real people trying to sort through something with each other. This couple doesn't get enough attention and I'm glad there are authors like you that can write quality pieces for them.

Every word and section had power, and it was all very...real, not like the fake manufactured crap a lot of stories are. This was more like how life actually is.

I don't think I've read a better piece of fanfiction, period. Let alone a fanfiction that features smut. Every word in this fanfiction felt like it had gravity, that every sentence was really part of the story and was relevant to every event that followed. It's not as if I'm reading a story someone was bored and made up one day, more so like an event being lived by a character and I just so happen to be lucky enough to be listening in at the moment.

Further, every character is written to perfection. Wes isn't simply written as a one dimensional mold of the Anti-hero trope, he has just the right amount of mystery to him to keep him as mysterious as he was in the game yet also have a human side that has to be brought out by an author's perception of a character. Rui is mostly a means to an end in the game, but here she's the most relatable character I've seen in a fanfiction in a long while. She's like a real teenager dealing with lust and want, and the confusing feelings of both enjoying it and wanting it to reach its peak all ready are crafted impeccably.

Everything, just everything. Nothing less than everything, maybe more. If you ever write more Colosseumshipping, M or not, I want to be the first to know, please.

Excellent work. A hell of a buildup, a lot of tension throughout, the understanding and telling of the frustration and awkwardness of it all, and a well-written lemon to boot. You have done extremely well with this work, and I hope you plan to write more like this in the future.

Just...damn. That is...that is probably the hottest story for Pokemon I've ever seen.

And holy crap you wrote it well, too. It's not that it's merely sex...that's a dime a dozen. There's stuff way more explicit around here, stuff that's basically written porn, but those sorts of things do nothing for me. This? This is...this is in character, first of all. These feel like the characters for the game. You've explored them as thinking, feeling characters. They're /right/ in all the right ways. And holy crap, Rui is not only acting like Rui, she is so identifiable. That feeling when you know you're not a kid anymore, you want this, and yet at the same time ohmygoshsexisweirdandembarassingI'mgonnadiiiiiiiii ie

And yeah. In the end, my feelings on this can be summed up with "Guh." The good kind of guh, mind you. The "I'm speechless with wonder and amazement and more than a bit of steaminess in the brain" kind of guh.

oh man, that was just wonderful. wonderful. exactly what I was looking for. the characterizations of wes and rui were enchantingly perfect, and the smut was FANTASTIC. definitely a favorite. oh man. thank you for this.

15/10 is all i have to say on this... perfect grammar, perfect lemon, perfect everything.
