Really different and good

Thank you for your story. I like it. Jane is out of the BPD for 3 months to heal when Maura was hired to work as ME for the BPD.

You have a different take on how Maura got to be working as ME for the BPD. She started when Jane was not around. And how she eventually became the Chief ME, as Jane reported back for duty.

Jane and Maura will be working together so I hope Jane will not be put off by her wealth, her car, her clothes, her shoes and her sexiness! LOL. Poor Jane. I wonder how she will handle our Dr. Maura Isles. I'm sure she's got her eyes on her already. Okay...maybe on her car! But who would ever believe that!

You said you wanted to stick to the storyline of both the TV show and the book as well. I think that just like most of the readers here, I really enjoy the TV version of R&I. Never even knew it was based on a book.

If it was entitled Cannoli & Fries, I would have still watched it because Angie and Sasha are perfect for the roles. And Janet's stories are good. I really think it would have been better because it would not have to go "by the book' and they can just really do what they want to do with the characters. Just my thoughts though.

Some of my friends who eventually bought the book to read, said that the characters on the book and on the TV version are so very different. They stopped buying and reading the book. (Sorry Tess!) They all liked the TV version better and they like the characters better (Congratulations Janet!). That's what they told me. They said the book is dark. Most of them did not like the Maura character there. Not to mention Jane, I think, is already married to Dean? So, I'm just saying, most of us might not understand the story if it was based on the book because it might be totally different from the TV version which most of us enjoy.

Just put some care when you introduce us to the stories or characteristics of these 2 from the book because I really like Jane and Maura's characters as I see them on TV...except that part where Maura is portrayed to be so much into men. And I mean any man for sex. I'm really still wondering why Maura was treated that way in Season 2. I didn't like it at all.

Anyway, i hope you will update soon. I really enjoy it.
