This. Was. Brilliant. I am a huge stickler for characterization, like to the point that I won't even notice spag mistakes if your characters are done well enough. I say this because this was brilliant in every way. Your Remus, I can't even.. it was beautifully written. I don't see why you don't like the ending, sure I would have liked something with Melanie quoting part of the song at him but back but you said she was a reoccurring character so I can see why that might not have happened. You had me laughing from the first line and it was just amazing.

Oh, that's priceless. I want to really hear that love song now. Drunk Remus sounds absolutely hilarious! I like that line of Remus', it's so in character, 'And this children, is why we do not drink alcohol.' I love how you've written the relationship between all of the Marauders, and I like how you've made Peter a kind of key character, as most people (including me, occasionally) tend to kinda reject him when writing a Marauder era story. Everyone was so in-character, and I absolutely cracked up when I read the part about Remus falling into Lily's lap at the end of his impromptu 'performance' XD Great spelling and grammar, and amazingly written story!

This was hilarious, I loved it! I love Remus, he's my favourite, and the thought of a him drunk is hilarious in the first place for some reason, but him doing all these awkward thigs while drunk is even funnier :L I loved as well the relationship you created between all the Marauders :) And, though I hesitate to admit this, even though I'm a diehard Wolfstar shipper, I liked Melanie and Remus. OK, I'm moving on from that now because I'm a bit ashamed ;) Anyway, really good job! :)

Merlin, I was seriously giggling out loud by the end of this. Personally, I just LOVE the Marauders (the best era to write/read about in HP, IMO), and I think you captured them perfectly. I love how you didn't just make Peter "that fat rat"; prior to his betrayal, he was actually a good guy, y'know? Or else, why would the Marauders accept him? It's one of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to Marauder fanfiction– don't make Peter bad just because you don't like him.

And, oh, James and Sirius are SO CRUEL!

I love it. XD

Anyway, this was just an AWESOME fic. Grammar and spelling was wonderful, and I just LOVED drunk Remus.

Haha. I love the Marauders. I think that this situation is something that totally would have happened. I personally think that Remus wouldn't have been that bad. He may be the strict one, but I think he would totally get drunk occasionally, or at least drink a little when he's out with his friends. It makes total sense because of the way you took this one-shot, but I think he would be able to handle a decent amount of alcohol.

I also think that once he announced he would never leave the dorm again they would be more sympathetic to him, unless it was a routine thing- something that happened every time he got drunk. They are his friends after all.

Overall, it was humorous and I enjoyed it.

Yay. It is beautiful. It was really mean of Sirius (and you can't pretend it wasn't his idea) to spike the punch. But I LOVED IT. And it is (if this is even possible) even better than some of your other fics.
