Very nicely done. Good characterization. Oh, and what a sucker-punch ending! Only suggestion would be that you correct the spelling to Elinor and Ferrars. I hope you'll write more Sense & Sensibility stories.

That silly, self-absorbed girl simply has no concept of what's right in front of her, does she? Well, at this point, anyway. She'd better be grateful that those who truly love her stuck it out through all that nonsense... particularly a certain deliciously devoted Colonel. _

You have an amazing writing style and I really enjoyed this. Thank you for sharing this with us. At first I didn’t quite understand why she would say, “I knew you’d come for me,” and felt like it was out of place with her current feelings towards the Colonel, but then I read the last line and it makes perfect sense. The poor thing was delirious. I felt bad for the Colonel, but knowing his disposition and character he would surely understand it for what it was, because unlike Willoughby, the Colonel’s an actual grown up.

I can't understand why this doesn't have more reviews. It's fantastic and you've nailed the characters' personalities! I just feel really sorry for Colonel Brandon now :( when Marianne said that last line all I wanted to do was give him a hug!
