Mireya Cristina chapter 1 . 11/6/2011
Excellent story! Stories with Astrid's POV are very hard to find. You did a great job with this concept. I can see this happening on the show. Keep up the good work! ;)

I enjoyed this and you present an interesting question - IS the amberverse Olivia still Peter's Olivia?

Do you plan on continuing the story? I'd love to see your take on the answer to that question.

That ending just destroyed me.

Wow, I love this! I really like this new perspective on the Peter/Olivia relationship, espcially from Astrid's perspective. The fact that she's noticed how there is this minute thread bonding them together is brilliant and I love that astuteness in her. Also, the mention of Astrid/Lincoln made me smile :)

I loved this line: "I know he's not my son, but I love him regardless." - well done, that is Walter if I've ever heard him; he will do anything for family and despite his potential insanity, he is a kind person.

I actually thought for a second at the end that it was Altlic Peter was kissing, and then it hit me... that just break my Polivia shipper heart :( But I see what you mean, this season's Olivia is not the Olivia Peter has come to know and love, she's a much darker mirror of that previous Olivia. The question now, is whether Peter is willing to try and work with that and find that love that he knows Olivia has inside her.

Such an angsty and poignant story. Thank you for sharing it. You did such a fantastic job setting the mood and tone that I was immediately sucked into it. So much so, that I read it twice. Love that you used Astrid's POV and I think you did a fine job of characterizing her and displaying all of the qualities in Astrid that make her such a great fit for this team.

At first, and probably because I'm a man and at times we're quite dense when it comes to matters of the heart, I didn't quite know why Olivia was being so caustic towards Peter. It didn't occur to me that she was jealous. After all, she did play a major role in his return and she's been living with a hole in her life for as long as she can remember. To have that void filled (apparently) and then be tasked to sending Peter "back", can't have felt fair to her.

It's quite sad that Peter seems convinced that this timeline is not his and thusly, seems to view Olivia as a mere substitute for the real thing. It's going to be a reckoning when it comes to light that this reality, IS his timeline, but irrevocably changed due to his actions. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it! What will he do then? What will you do? I hope write a sequel!

Loved the ending. Olivia mirroring past Olivia's fight or flight response and basically pleading for Peter to stay with her. Not the result that we all wanted, but so appropriate and perfect for this story. Outstanding.

That was terrific! I always enjoy seeing things from Astrid's POV. I can't imagine the isolation and loneliness Peter will feel on his return, but you've imagined it beautifully. Hope there will be more Fringe stories from you in the future!

Oh my. I loved this. I love Astrid, and always enjoy reading PO from someone else's POV, so this was really good. It's all kind of depressing though, how Olivia wants Peter to stay, but to him, she's simply not HIS Olivia; if he does see her as an Alternate version, it's understandable why he wouldn't want to 'settle' here with her after what happened between him and Altlivia. Sad, but I live for sadness xD Very well thought, thank you :)

Ooh this is good. But I remain in the thought that this timeline is still ourverse just not so much as an alternate universe as a whole. Various timelines all still exist within every universe all the time anyway, as the Observers say. It is more like everything just minus Peter redacted out of it. All the things happened just minus him and so things are different. Also, the redverse is hardly much different because either way Peter was taken and didn't grow up there. So his existence in the blueverse being something that never happened drastically changes a lot of things. And yet the blueverse is still the blueverse, just the timeline is a bit different, there's plenty more differences in it than in the redverse. Think of a blue string with multiple blue strings splitting off of it and a red string with multiple red strings splitting off it. So the blue is still rooted in the blue...and I hope that makes sense but it's how I see it.

I am hoping the Observers clear it up more if they have an centric ep soon. I am thinking the timeline will sort of fold back in on itself or merge back into the prime timeline in a sense. Or people remember a la a bit the way the Lost people die in The End. Some trigger and that is them remembering/merging? Especially Olivia because she DID bring Peter back unknowingly with her ability. She did not realize she was doing it but it was what Cameron said, he didn't realize he was doing what he was doing. So there's that. Anyway, I'm looking forward to how they resolve this on the show.

I've been thinking the same thing actually. i mean if this is supposed to be a universe without peter and thats affected certain outcomes in everyones ice, changing them, then their literally a different version our side. which is no different then bolivia's side. unless they're still our olivia, our walter, our astrid but they just don't remember peter, once they remember they'll still be our sides fringe division? so many questions lol, i guess we just need to watch and find out.

That's a really interesting take on Season 4. I'd love to believe you're right-I'm such a Polivia shipper. :) As always, love your writing, and thanks for sharing.
