I usually don't go for Code Geass AU because I perfectly love the war zone and Geass in the show. I love how complicated Lelouch and CC's partnership in there. But you captured the most alluring part of their characters, essence and relationship in this AU fanfic. It had the mix of the original and your own flavor of CC and Lelouch. CC as human and as an immortal witch that she is and Lelouch as proud and awesome brother that he is. This was so good that it got me hooked with the prologue.

Anyway, love this story! Although, it seems like you kind of cut a lot of the ending off. But it doesn't bother me that much.

Oh my. I wonder if CC's father knew about what lelouch was planning and that's why he acted the way he did.
And dear Lelouch, doing everything in his power to make his sisters happy, even if it means marrying someone he's not really sure he wants to marry. THough him realizing that she is is other half, and equal is a good start. I bet CC's sisters' reactions will be priceless! And Lelouch's too. I loved how CC made him squirm and then said 'sure' to the prospect of getting married.

Hahaha! I loved Lelouch and CC getting into an argument as soon as they met! That was fun! And he started calling her a witch right off the bat! I bet she's going to start eating her pizza soon and try and tune him out.
I wonder how this story is gonna play out with three of Lelouch's love interests from the series as sisters. I'm sure Kallen and Shirley will eventually get jealous of the fact that their dad is trying to set him up with CC. Though I'm sure that besides Lelouch's parents, Euphimia and her suitor (hmm, Suzaku yes?) wil be pushing for the union as well. I can't wait for what happens next!

I doubt that you will read this given the time that has passed ever since you last wrote this author's note. Even so, I thought I'd give it a shot.
The story you have created is wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. It really created a new and dynamic perspective in each character you have borrowed from the Code Geass universe. Even the world you have created is interesting and even though it has some things which are not usually believable in reality, you still pulled it off in making us fall into the world of "willing suspension of disbelief."
Honestly, I only chanced on this story and I didn't expect it to be this good. I am really disappointed when you decided to close it with this note. However, I understand that it is for personal reasons and I cannot do something about it. But I would really like to read more of your creations and hopefully someday, you will be able to give this story a good ending. It's your story. Forever and always. I'll always be here, waiting and hoping.

I'm sad that you decided to discontinue this. This is a great story, but you had your reasons, and I respect it.
Anyway, this reminded me of "The Taming of the Shrew" by Shakespeare, sort of.
