Incredible story! Very deep and moving! I really enjoyed it!

Wonderful story!

Loved it! You have a great way of describing feelings, so natural. The idea to develope a story around a plant, with so much deeper meaning was superb!

We all knew that Steve wouldn't last. Fine, I was holding my breath... Still, he just wasn't Sam:) Hope for more! How am I going to survive without a new episode? Good luck at school!

I'm always amazed at how you write Jules. It's just perfect, you know? I especially loved the part about Sam bagging the only female sniper of SRU while she ruined her reputation because it was very true. I could definitely see lockers talk and gossip if it ever got out. And Steve, I could also see him herding cows, still wearing that dorky haircut from Follow the Leaders, calling Jules 'Jewel of the Prairie'. Urgh.

Somehow I got this feeling that -you- had to read Waldo's essays once upon a time, haha. Anyway, great as always.

Your disclaimer bothers me... because after reading this I so wish that FP was yours. Then we might get some beautiful moment like this one.

I love the little nuances in this scene. I love Jules' honest to God fear about just how alone she is, that she realizes she is at a point in her life where she thought she would naturally have certain things by now- a husband, kids and in place of that she has a job. Then she gets shot and is being replaced and suddenly it's like 'what now?' and she just instinctively wants it back, it's everything she has worked for- everything she has really...

I love how you made her breakup with Sam about more than just the job, it was about fear for herself, for her heart. It makes it so much more understandable and you kind of hurt for her.

And poor Steve, poor hopeless, hapless Steve- I really feel for the poor guy. She doesn't want fresh cut flowers, she just wants Waldo.
