Hate to say it but I like the idea of the story however that was so short that it wasn't even worth the update

I hope you are still planning on finishing this. I started to read it 'cause this chapter was an author's note. I wouldn't have if I had realized it wasn't finished. It's so discouraging to start a good story to just have it left and not finished.

U cant leave it there! Jack should get down on one knee and then ianto should. Open the door and say yes then gwen could declard her love 4 jack and it would be really awkward coz jacks engaged to ianto then it could end with the wedding!

just be creative. the other parts are great! eventhough i dont think that jack would ever marry someone. even ianto :(

They'll need to go back to the hub to discuss it - Jack is still Ianto's boss until he accepts his resignation.

Or: Jack could have written to Ianto in response to his letter, which he gives to Ianto at his family's home, explaining his plans for a special weekend (save the proposal for later) and asking if he will please come and discuss it at the hub (or knowing Jack, he might demand an exit interview and then apologise and propose!)
