Nessa1390 chapter 4 . 3/5/2013
I really enjoy this story and was wondering if you were going to continue or if it had been abandoned.

What Blaine is doing for the kids with music is so great!
anxioussquirrel chapter 4 . 10/28/2011
Oh I loved what you did with this chapter:) You're making Blaine even more amazing! The scenes with Julie - brilliant. And I can see there's gonna be trouble with Susan :D Oh, AND the first mention of Kurt's sister, am I right?

Loved it, waiting for moar :D

Uh oh, Blainers has someone after him already. Not that I blame her. That's one fine piece of manhood there. And yep, at first he's not going to want people to know his sexual orientation. Sad to say that can be an issue in schools. It shouldn't be, but it is. And not surprised at how he is with kids. That man's voice can soothe the savage beast and charm the damn paint off the wall. Glad the school has anti bullying program in place and I bet he gets involved with that. Looking forward to watching this story develop.
cuddlepenguin chapter 4 . 10/27/2011
We are meeting new characters! For a brief moment I thought Kurt might be the guidance counselor since we could not see in the office. Hmmmm. I'm more then willing to wait for Kurt's entrance, but I'm going to speculate in the meantime!
anxioussquirrel chapter 3 . 10/27/2011
Hi! I FINALLY finished with my stuff and was able to read at last! I've read the three chapters in one go and let me tell you, I am hooked. Apart from the fact that I love your style, as always, this is a brilliant idea for a story and I can see you're going to develop it splendidly, judging by the fact that you're setting a slow pace and adding so much detail. I like your Blaine, a self-made man who knows what he wants and gets it. I love that you're writing about things you really know from experience - it makes everything so much more realistic. AND I'm already learning a lot about school system in the US, which is a bonus for me as an author ;)

Great job, darling, I'm looking forward to next chapters (and Mr. Hummel, of course).

Love the Star Trek reference. I am an original Trekkie from back in the 60's when the show first aired. I have been to many conventions and met several of the cast including Jimmy Doohan (3 times) George Takei (twice) Leonard Nimoy (once). Also met a couple Next Gen's (Data and Troi) and Odo from DS9. So yep, in that fandom for many many years. And alot of the technology from the show is becoming reality. Pretty awesome! Looking forward to seeing more of Blaine building relationships with coworkers and of course can't wait till he meets up with Kurt down the road.

Beam Me Up Scotty, there's no intelligent life down here in Lima.

(RIP Jimmy Doohan, super awesome nice man. Hanging on my wall is a picture of my son and I with him, which I took to a later convention and he signed. My son was maybe 8 or 9 then. He loved the fans and his attitude towards the fandom reminds me of Darren's. Want a pic, sure, fine. Want me to sign something, sure. Hug or handshake, absolutely. People like that are rare.)

Everything seems to be going well! Is he meeting Kurt soon?
cuddlepenguin chapter 3 . 10/25/2011
Blaine has quite the schedule going. Hmmmmm wonder when and where he will meet Kurt!
Virtual Mage chapter 3 . 10/25/2011
Personally, I think these are fitting nicely at this length and I'm enjoying both your dialog and exposition. ;)

You beat me by the way, but I had to pop on over to give it a read as soon as I was done. It's still going to take a bit to get into all of your characterizations, but Blaine is shaping up nicely. I can't wait to meet the rest of the characters and of course that all-important meeting with Kurt.

Can't wait for more!

Virtual Mage chapter 2 . 10/25/2011
Nice continuation and I love the looks back, both at old friends we know and others we've yet to meet. No opinion as to how to proceed be it shorter or longer chapters. I usually find that decision gets made for me as the characters talk or yell at me. Just stick to whatever makes it more comfortable or manageable for you.

Keep up the great work and remember to pace yourself. Can't wait for the next one!

Senior year Independent Study! I'll bet Blaine's was awesome! Fun backstory. Excited to see Kurt make his eventual entrance! Happy writing!
SeparatriX chapter 2 . 10/22/2011
Liking it so far, very much so. So then, were you, by chance the flaming Puerto Rican's hag?
mardie186 chapter 2 . 10/21/2011
Looking forward to Blaine's first day. I hope he will find some gay-friendly coworkers/colleagues. And have fun with the kids. Because we all know that under that extremely dapper exterior is a big puppy dog who loves to play.

Read an interview online today on glee wetpaint with Joey Richter (Ron Weasley in AVPM/AVPS)and he is living with Darren in LA and says Darren's schedule is insane. So glad he has a friend there to help keep him sane. (If that's even possible).

Look forward to next chapter. And I think you wanted to call this chapter Becoming An Adult. (not AND adult) typo whoops.
