Something to help forget the depression.

I stopped reading for several months after it got too depressing around chapter 34.

Rather an elegant "date," too, too if I might say so. Many so-called "fine dining establishments" maintain a "Chef's table" not at all unlike the one where your young couple are holding the above-quoted conversation conversation. The chef's table is, by definition, a table located in the kitchen of the restaurant and which is reserved exclusively for VIPs and other special guests.

Now just WHY would Madam Pomfrey (the school nurse) be commenting on the plans for (and IN) Madam Sprout's Herbology class? Hmmm?

Perhaps the Devil Twins had pranked Sprout to look like Pomfrey but, otherwise, I'm lost here. ;-)

Madame Sprout called the roll from the roster and Harry was able to match a few more faces to the names he remembered. The professor seemed to hesitate for a split second as she called Harry’s name but she continued on without a pause.

After giving an overview of the year’s course, MADAME POMFREY told everyone that next week’s assignment concerned Mandrakes and everyone was to read up on their properties. Harry felt some disappointment coming from Hermione as she already knew the subject.

“There are going to be a lot more trips outside this year while we can take advantage of the weather. We’re going on a small trip today as a matter of fact. Does everyone have their robes or a sweater or a jacket? I can cast a general warming spell on those who don’t but please be prepared after today.” After saying that Madame Sprout gave everyone two minutes to get ready for their outing.

Well this was a good read and I've enjoyed this more than the first two, even with braking off to read your Christmas episode. I'm surprised how much more intimate and natural the relationship part of the story was when you reduced it down to just Harry and Hermione and I enjoyed the story a lot more during this time. I am reluctant now to go on to the next episode because of this but I will at some point as I wish to see where you go with this but I won't be doing right away as I don't want to compare it to this.

Feels like drama for the sake of not having to change timeline.

First case where I did not completely skip songs - due to Leaves' Eyes - Scarborough Fair.

Done with this one and moving on to the next one. I wasn’t exactly happy with how the diary situation went, but I guess we can’t have a Chamber of Secrets story without Ginny being the one possessed and used to open said chamber...

Also, I’m assuming that the only way for the bond between HP and HG to form was to temporarily remove GW from it. Idk. It was a good story, I liked many elements of it and disliked a few, but I guess we wouldn’t have a very interesting story without all the conflict and surprises.

I find it interesting that Daphne is part of this fan club. Wasn’t she part of the group that attacked Hermione in first year? Maybe that is something that will be fleshed out by the end of this story, but it is an interesting development.

Well, I guess I’m going to take a break here to check out A Very Granger Christmas, as much as I want to read the conclusion of this story, I like reading things in order.

Well, this chapter definitely didn’t leave me with the warm and fuzzies.

Well, dang. Did that freaking spell hitting the diary and then Ginny put Tom’s soul inside Ginny and that’s why she’s in a coma right now? Ugh.

Well, now I guess Harry won’t have the Eye of Horus to help ID the bad diary...my anxiety levels just spiked a bit.
