Harry’s a true best friend who loves Hermione regardless if their relationship is romantically or platonic (somewhat). He made the right choice giving her v card to Hermione and vice versa. A prime example of the potential of their shipping as how it should’ve been in canon! (HHr person personally, no hard feelings). Ron however is a pretentious, degenerate, son of a bitch who doesn’t deserve Hermione’s caring and attentive attitude and lost the his chance of having a fantastic future with her. He also fucking deserves not being forgiven for all the bullshit he says that always hurts Hermione either physically or emotionally. Great job Ron u piece of garbage and great job Harry for being the person Hermione needs and deserves!

Would have been a bit more poetic if he was the one who was dying and she forgave him on his final day. It just feels like it would have suggested that his grief over ruining a friendship and possible romance wore him thin.

I can totally see Ron mucking up amidst the Grangers in their home, especially to insult their very own daughter. I can also see (pre-HBP) Hermione holding on to her grudge until her deathbed. Interesting one-shot for sure!

Wow - powerful story

It is so sad and yet so appropriate. This is the Ron from canon; one only has to think of the visions the Horcrux gave him. Still a mystery to me why she would have forgiven him and loved him.

His nature is why Lavender was the right one for him, she didn't have to accommodate his failings, for to her they didn't exist.

Hermione forgiving him on her dead bed was a the perfect Parthian shot.

Very well done one-shot.

Very good stories. I think if u were to combine them, maybe take out the pseudo epilogue at the end of this one, and added on those parts, u could have a very good story. Maybe with how harry and Hermione finally got together and their children. I don't buy that Ron would out live Hermione though. Not with his temper and eating habits.

Clear example of Ron's true nature - immature abusive jerk who put a foot in his mouth one time too many. I'm relieved Hermione never forgave him. In my opinion, Harry should have never let him back into his life after GoF.
