awesome and tragically sad as well.

will you ever finish this story? I'd love to know

I swear this story is just simply amazing. I reread it just because you updated and it still reduced me to tears. The sadness and self loathing is so real in this story. This chapter was so bittersweet. I knew that Dave must have been fantasizing, but it didn't make it hurt any less when he began to cry. I feel so much sympathy for him. It's heartbreaking, but in such a beautiful way. You create this air of sadness and beauty unlike many other stories I've ever read. I honestly love this and will patiently wait for you to continue. It's truly lovely.

I kind of hate this story...I understand needing angst in a story but having it every single chapter starts to get old and makes the reader frustrated...I hope so bad that Kurt does not give Blaine what he wants...I really hopes he stops him and goes back to Dave...I don't know how much angst I can continue reading before I stop reading the fic...sorry

Well I've forgotten what happened up to this point but I like it anyway.

I don't know how you do it, but I think this story has drawn more emotion out of me than possibly any other. Your writing style is just superb, and your descriptiveness makes everything so alluring. I can't wait until you continue. This story seems like sheer genius to me. I really do love it. I hope you update soon enough. I'm pretty inspired by your work so far.

Far from below expectations, this fic is wrenching my heart out and stomping on it. More!

Okay. So maybe I am reading into the metaphors that continue to be repeated throughout the story but I get the distinct feeling that the cold - in Kurt's room, at the locker, outside, are always around Kurt because it is so very obvious, the way he should be and feel. Nothing can offer the warmth needed because Kurt is bent on being cold. - even the warmth Burt's blankets would provide. The expectation that Kurt couldn't just sleep with Blaine I Kurt MUST do something with Blaine and that Blaine expects him to do it.

What I am into are the instances in which Kurt does the unexpected and the warmth that comes with those actions. Taking the hoodie, sliding into Dave's bed, calling Dave from the bathroom. But what I love? Dave protects Kurt from the cold, offering him his bed without expectation, his hoodie without payment, his protection of the cold of a slushie. All of the unexpected from Kurt is always met with the expected from Dave. Dave even calls him Hummel when Kurt is in the cold and Dave will call him Kurt when Dave sees the real Kurt.

Do you do this intentionally? It is brilliant. I can't wait for others to see the monster in Blaine. And look forward to when Kurt is no longer Hummel.

I feel kind of physically sick.
Take that as a sign of good writing that you can make someone feel like that.
Seriously Kurt, you shouldn't be feeling like that, even if you are scared and nervous.

Whoo! Excited when I saw the update in my inbox! Don't worry, you wouldn't be the first Kurtofsky story writer to go AWOL mid story... I think this last season of Glee killed a lot of the geniune hope all of us had for our boys :(

Great addition to the story! Again, you paint such a vivid picture with words, I could absolutely feel the heat from Kurt banging his back against the radiator. I'm looking forward to see what you've got after that little cliffy! Just don't make us wait too long for it ;)
