I've read this story before many years ago, I think I was probably reading it as it was being updated. I actually remember this chapter and I remember this scene as well. Didn't think coming back and reading it I would feel as I'm feeling now. This is rape, it should never be forgiven. I know she's going to forgive him because I've read it before. She didn't make him even work super hard to be forgiven or anything like that (not even then he would deserve it but still...). I feel very strongly about this today and I completely understand this was written in 2011-2013 but I am very hopeful to think we, as women, nowadays see this type of behavior as unexcusable and I'd like to think this storyline would never be seem as ok today. (no flames to the story whatsoever as it was written many years ago and people change, I still enjoyed reading back then and I am re-reading)

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that out of every fanfic on this damn site.. this story is by far my favourite! I'm not saying this to get you to continue the sequel (although that would be nice). But i've probably read this story around 10 plus times (not in a row, like spaced out in time) and I always go back to it again and again but i've never reviewed?! So I just wanted to you to know that Phoenix and Alec are one of my otp's and I bloody worship this story! You're a great author! Kudos to you!

2) She is a Mary Sue. Look at her name and also, everything goes her way.
3) In the beginning, how is she not scared?
4) She curses too much. I don't like her attitude, especially because of what the guest below me pointed out about the gay remarks.
5) She like never gets really downright sad or angsty. She witnessed ppl get killed, and she doesn't even react like a normal person would. She bitches about it and yells curse words to her captors. Not a smart thing to do.
6) She bitches about everything. Her behavior in the beginning made me wonder why the Volturi didn't just kill her. She's annoying and tries too hard to act badass. I hate her behavior/character.

At first I actually liked this story but nuu all of her little remarks about being gay is just ridiculous ok? How is being gay an insult? No its ok to be gay and honestly its pretty shitty of you to keep saying "You look so gay" and shit like that. I really don't appreciate it and it makes you sound rude and homophobic as fuck.

First things first, I'm addicted to your story :D Both Jane and Alec are characters that are very unterestimated in my opinion so I was very surprised when I found this story. (I happened to think that she'd a pet of Aro's :P ) I'm looking forward to read the next chapters!

Super SUPERBLY excited to move on to the sequel. This chapter was really good for an ending. I like those to turn out happy.

Oh. My. God. I should've skipped the oral part..but don't they fall in love? I don't get it, he's so cruel :( why did Benjamin have to diiiie :'( but on a positive note, I like that this story mentions bands like Breaking Benjamin and Evanescence because usually with others it's Jay Z and stuff like that, which isn't my taste at all. Freaking *love* Breaking Benjamin. But ths chapter was so sad!
