If you think you're about to be Obliviated, you bite the inside of your cheek. Then you know you were Obliviated if your cheek hurts and you don't remember biting. I don't see how a passphrase would help against Obliviation.

well I'm disappointed. what was the real back story on Monroe? What was he doing between when he left Salem Witches School and when he remembered he was a Wizard again? Who made him forget that he was a Wizard, and why? What made him remember again? Or was that whole story he told a lie? Was he actually someone from the future ? Or another universe? And his whole story about him spending 16,000 years in the Sphere was another lie? And his claim about really being a muggle who had figured the whole source of magic out on his own? when did that happen? If so it must have been long before he 'rediscovered' his magical abilities, obviously, so in that case his entire interaction with Potter from day one was all a farce he was playing for reasons unknown.

doesn't harry know a good summoning charm so he could summon pioneer 11? tonks is a metamorphagus couldn't she have gone to the ministry? there are so many plot holes and surprises and things happening thats unreasonable that the story just makes feel like it's a parody! sorry if it is one but if it's not i mean everything i said

I was interested in the first few chapters about Monroe showing up and being a fake muggle wizard with Harrys recognition code. But then the story kept taking left turns, Suddenly Ginny was Voldemort. Also Harry was Riddle. People kept dying and coming back to life. Then Suddenly Monroe is a god. Really lacked something the oringal HPMOR had. Interesting starting plot.

I was wondering about Monroe from the very beginning. I was wondering if he was the same person as in Ex Machina.
