I don't read AU's a whole lot, but this is one of my favorite H50 fanfics. (This is my 3rd time reading.) I love your supernatural ideas and the fact that the characters are still in character compared to the show. Great job!
I love the whump, especially the staple gun scene. It's brutal. I love the flashbacks and your history for Danny. It added so much to the current story. And I love the ohana and the lengths they went to save Danny. Thanks for sharing!

Great, great story!

Well, now I'm through and am just speechless. This is definitely one of the best organized, orchestrated, directed stories without being once boring or showing lengths or feeling constructed that I've read so far in any fandom. I love how you create this universe with just everything and everyone perfectly in place and in character. No matter which person you highlight, I could empathize with them. This is a skill! I also liked that you put some whump into it, but didn't reduce the story to it. I loved how you kept the story detailed until the end, without rushing it. And I also love the open ending, although that makes me wish to read more from you in this fandom. Thank you very much for this heartbreaking, exciting, action-packed emotional roller-coaster of a story!

Poor Danny and everything he went through. But in the end he is Ok and has his family. They know his secret and wont tell. Love how protective Steve is over Danny.

O no Now Steve knows about Danny's "brother" . At least Danny didn't seems to mad/upset.

This is the first story I 've read so far that has Danny with a not some perfect family growing up. I like the idea. And then he has some kinda of healing power. Wow! Can't wait for Steve to finds out about this and get more about Danny being in foster care.

One thing I struggle to understand from this fandom is what seems like this incredible resistance to letting either Danny or Steve move on to healthy relationships and families with women. They have to be stuck together. Nobody with a stronger claim on their loyalty than a child who is dependent and not a companion and subject to adult whims and agendas. It's emotionally and otherwise sterile. Work buddies can be like brothers or sisters, but they're not spouses unless they really are married. You can't learn the same things or be refined in the same way by any relationship short of marriage. No other relationship makes any sense as a foundation for family. And while two people of the same sex can do a great deal for a child, they can't give a child what a married, stable, biological father and mother who love each other and their children can. They can't provide those complementary but different strengths or the same kind of modeling for family relationships. Maybe you can explain this aspect of the fandom to me?

This was an absolutely awesome story, I loved it. Am gutted to be finished now as was lovely to look forward to, though didnt get much done as kept reading when should have been doing other stuff lol. Thanks so much for such an escapism story, you blended the extraordinary of Danny's special gift and the usual .. Well usual for five o- together so it wasn't unbelievable, you just got caught up in it. Loved you villains too, and the relationships of the team. Brilliant. Cheers cheers cheers,

This will have been the second time reading this fantastic story, and I could not recall if I had reviewed it last time. I have to say this is by far my favourite story on this entire site! It's amazingly well written, and it saddens me that there will not be a sequel. I look forward to reading more stories from you!

What a very cool idea, to give Danny this extraordinary gift. I like that you have it tie in with a Hawaiian cultural element, that this haole turns out to be something that folks would expect to find within the native population, if at all. I like that you had Kamekona figure out what Danny was and explain it to the team. It’s cool that by the end, Danny is learning more about how to use his gift safely thanks to his ohana. I’d imagine that a Kahuna Ola growing up in a culture that embraces the concept would be taught a lot that Danny has to figure out on his own. Now that the team is in on it, as well as Kamekona, Danny might find useful information in the form of lore available for him to learn.
