Bittersweet end. My heart just went for Castiel.

Hi I come back to this story (specifically this chapter) every once in a while and just... I’ve memorized it like my favorite song. I know how the chapter ends and it always hits me like a punch in the gut. Whenever I need to feel something because life makes me numb I read this chapter and cry with cas. I just want you to know I love this story, I love how you’ve written Dean and Cas, and I love being able to reread this chapter always. This is one of my favorite stories ever, so thank you for writing it. It’s beautiful.

I knew it ! I so knew it. How ? Well firstly, what could be Cas worst nightmare ? That he failed to save Dean. And secondly and more obvious, why Gabriel would kill the cop and drive a car when all he had to do was put the police officer to sleep and transport them directly into the hospital ?

I love these stories, the uber lovely ones that make me connect to the characters. Unfortunately, my tear ducts don't. Great story, and no offense, but I don't think my heart can take reading this again. Definitely in my faves, though!

oh my god. oh my fucking god. i have never commented on a fic on this website before, so i don't know if i'm commenting on this chapter or the whole fic, but either way...im stunned. after Dean proposed and Castiel said he was dreaming i turned off my phone, set it on my nightstand, pulled my covers over my head, screamed, then cried. for a long time. this was too fucking good.

This entire story was magnificent and beautifully written. I knew chapter 8 was a dream, but damn my heart broke just the same for Castiel when he realized it. Your Dean was just so perfectly spot on in that chapter, especially in the kitchen scene. I loved the whole thing, but that chapter was definitely my favorite. Thanks for sharing!
