Okay, I really enjoyed this. I have no criticisms, and no complaints. My Hawke was a rogue duelist, but I enjoyed this one as well. I feel like there should have been some of these scenes in the game (like the one after her mother...that was just so sad!) and I've been filling that void with fics since I finished it!

This tale is like being tied to the end of a rope and being pulled in... pause, grip, pull; pause, grip, pull; pause, grip, pull. Until that final pull thru a narrow opening; bursting free and experiencing the sound of your favorite song being ramped ALL the way up. Awesome!

Has David Gaider read your work? He should - you know Fenris very well. It's nice to read what goes on that elf's head. You write poetically and completely - leaving no thought, feeling or moment to misinterpretation.

My only negative criticism is - I'm still left wondering what Fenris feels and why Hawke wants him. You tell the story from Fenris' perspective, but it's really hard to see the maturation of feelings. They never seem to move beyond puppy love.
