Stone is a bit out of place. White collar crime is mostly paperwork from the get go, and the fun stuff revolves around art theft. Stone has no aptitude or appreciation for either, so what is he doing in that office?

This promises to be an interesting story, but I can't help but think a competent hardhead would have been a better antagonist than an incompetent dullard with a mouth.

Je sais que c'est de l'histoire ancienne mais je viens de tomber sur ta fic et je l'ai beaucoup appréciée. C'était bien écrit (avec quelques gallicismes mais c'est plutôt sympa je trouve; de plus je ne saurais faire la différence entre l'anglais niveau A et niveau A...) J'ai adoré que le fond soit différent, tout le monde est pro, sans whump pour une fois, et notre intérêt ne s'essouffle pas. Bravo! Dommage que tu n'en ais pas écrit d'autres de WC...

I thouroughly enjoyed reading. There were a few gramatical errors but other then that, I loved the plot and pace! Everyone was in character and the ending warmed my heart! Thank you for writing this! .

This was different and very good. Very different to see someone within White Collar as the person out to harm Neal. I loved all the characters and how they were conveyed. The surprise at the end was very good. I liked Peter and Neal expressing their gratitude to each other, very nicely written.

Reading again this great story, I would really like to see this on TV. WOW, what a show that would be!

I'm confused; the first and second paragraphs state that the deal was concluded and Neal works full time now. But later Neal talks about being "allowed" to go to the conference - allowed as in time off from work? A condition of his release/probation? To me, it sounds like "allowed" as in it's outside of his radius. Also, you call Peter his handler. Is that a reference to the fact that he used to be his handler? Or is he still his handler even though the deal concluded?

I'm sorry, I know you concluded this almost two years ago, but I'm weird and wonder about these things. I probably glided right by this the first time I read the story and reviewed and only noticed it now that I'm re-reading. Feel free to ignore. :)
