I've just found this story after all these years. It is really excellent and very well written. Why ! Oh Why have you not finished it ? I'm going to wonder what the hell happened for the rest of my life - Aaaaaaah !

I just finished ready your story and am absolutely distraught! I was so enjoying the story, but realized that you haven't updated in two and half years. If you still receive notifications of reviews, then I implore you to find it in your heart to at least write one more chapter to finish the story and tie up loose ends. This cliff hanger is torture. Please!

i'm a little worried that a new physician in gaius' room might find things that are, shall we say, incriminating? merlin's magic book was probably not the only questionable thing that was in there... at the very least, questions might be asked...

you know, this chapter, the way the villagers turned on hunith - i would have expected arthur and gwaine to get all four of them out of ealdor, not believing any of the nonsense about sorcery... i'm a little worried for hunith being left there on her own, now...

i like gwen making dinner and arthur going with him to gaius' chamber... the characters feel real, you've done well.

Almost a month since your update, but now I'm slowly realizing that the fandom is very much alive and the silence I experienced is rather the lack of notifications in my mailbox, (darn spam folder) then the board actually being quiet. So now I'm roaming through my fav alerts to see what have I missed, and I am so happy to find this fic getting updated. Late reviews are just as joyful to read? ;

Had a read of the previous chapters to refresh it all and what a wonderful story it is.. Poor Merlin slowly getting cornered and his lies not stretching well enough to cover him, it's all detailed and written beautifully. And gotta love the slight humor even if it's quite dark at times.
And he talks and tells Arthur everything, and the king just walks away.. *gasp* Guess he won't be sleeping that night..

Gwen and Gwaine showing up in his chamber is funny, how he doesn't notice them, and its a great choice of characters to have a talk with him, both being strong personalities and influences. Gwen's "loving encouragement and an explicit warning" ..Oh how true!

And Morgana just went bonkers o.O.. and the fact that she is riding for Camelot when Merlin is in such a state just gives me shivers.. Really looking forward to your next update!

Wow! What a beautiful write! Epic, brilliantly plotted, masterfully detailed! I can't believe I've only just found it! No, actually, seeing that it was started 2 yrs ago, I should consider myself lucky - to be able to devour it all at once, in one big excited gulp. Actually, now I'm re-reading it, digesting it properly,slowly, savoring each word. And it feels so strangely canon, and contains such delicious, comforting Merlin whump! You just ought to quit your job and write it all for us as a big fat book! ...Or at least continue posting ...
