I like this story, and quite frankly, I could provide a new OC for your story, only if you like the idea of him.

His name is Nathan Seville, and rather than being a Chipmunk, he's a Madagascar Flying Fox (Giant Fruit Bat) and is usually the Security guard for the Chipmunks while they are doing concerts or on tour.

for physical appearance, he stands twice the height of Simon, and is usually seen wearing an orange security guard's coat fitted for his wings, which have only two fingers supporting the wing membranes, the other two and his thumb forming his hands. also, his voice is similar to the chipmunks, only slightly deeper, and he has a patch of orange fur on his head, the rest covering him being black. He's got trust issues with most Humans, only Dave being the complete exception.

There, if you want to use him in your story, I give you permission, and also, you can refer to his first appearance as a film set, "Cold in This Place: A Bat's Tale" and I do hope you don't mind other rodent species being able to talk :P

I would stop putting in characters outside of the CGI.
