Love! It was sweet, it was real, and you really captured the raw emotion of father-son very well. I loved the word choice and your accurate portrayal of the characters. I could see each actor in the role-Jim consoling his son, Josh being embarassed as he pours his heart out, and Elisabeth tearing up to see her son actually trusting his father again (or at least starting to). It seemed like an actual scene from an episode of the television series. You did an excellent job and I applaud you.

I really thought that there would be either a spanking scene between Jim and Josh, or one where they connect more fully and it surprised me that there wasn't one. Your story fit perfectly. Thanks for writing it! :)

The story was great :) You should totally continue writing stories like this. I love daddy Jim, he's awesome D I wish you would write another story and that you feel confident enough now to start writing a fic with more chapters.
