You kinda laid the cheesy on pretty thick in this one, but I'm here for it :P

Once again, I have to say, I really enjoy the way in which you're weaving the canon into your story. It's refreshing and carefully done.

I realise it doesn't matter 8 years later, but reading your notes about taking a long time to post even though based on the dates on FF you published a 50-chapter 100 thousand-word fic in like 4 months seems a little funny; I hope people were not complaining for you to rush or anything :) I imagine it takes a great amount of discipline and focus to write so much, so well, in such short time.

So, the lemon itself was actually well written. It lacked the extreme detail usually found in lemon fics which is good cause 99% of the time those details are too cringey to describe and stomach. The simplicity of the scene really worked. On the other hand, the fact that there was lemon here in the first place felt mostly gratuitous and unnecessary; From a storytelling point of view, as a reader I can't say that it made sense to me that those two suddenly moved so fast based on what you've written so far. Just the fact that you said we could skip this chapter indicates that on some level you're aware that this development doesn't feel quite so organic to the story. That said, this fic is still a huge pleasure to read, and you've done a great job of pacing the story and keeping the characters, well, in character. I know I'm very late to the party reading this in 2020, but I'm glad I'm here anyway :)

This chapter was beautifully written! The care with which Toph's senses are described and even the small detail of acknowledging that vines maybe are not vines since she can't see; they absolutely add to how well you're realising this world and and building within it.

The pacing of the story is great so far dear author! I'm hoping you haven't really killed Aang off but I guess we'll wait and see:) I love how you're weaving stuff from the canon beyond the end of S2 in your story instead of dismissing everything!

The plot was well done... if a bit rushed... there is good bones here... but the character builds arent great. and why does anyone in the way of ZATARA get killed? i mean aang? the war cant be won without him but fine. kill the avatar. whatever. and now mei? and katara keeps running off acting like a child? shes the most mature member of the group! if anything it would be toph or zukko who would run off! i hate that you portrayed katara as permanently attached to a whipping post. plus the relationship development is weird... sokka is okay...but zukko and katara just started to trust eachother and learn to respect eachother. there was no build up atall to the sex scene... just 'ohokay...guess their having sex in the sand now' honestly... not a fan. you have potential as a writter but you need to stop rushing threw your story. write asif you ARE katara. make it more personal. i felt like you were trying to write this story without any knowledge of relationships... this story would have been better off if there were none.

I think you handled it well. relationships dont just come out of nowhere. there has to be build up. some common ground and chemistry to build off of. you nailed that down pat. could use a bit more teenage awkwardness though (have you ever seen a teenager with their shit together enough to do romance without making a fool of themselves?) but I can look past that.
