If Shadow had met Helen, I think having her as a friend could have helped Shadow heal and move on from losing Maria. This was a great story.

Aw, this was such a sweet little story! I've always though Maria and Helen were very similar, in both looks and personality. Also, they were both restricted by illnesses (Maria's NIDS and Helen's... well her paralysed legs aren't really an illness, I guess, but you know what I mean.) and yet they were still happy all the time. Good work :)
