I loved this story. So sweet. And I am glad they ended as friends rather than as romantic partners given her age. This is the kind of story I could actually read a sequel for (I don't do sequels much).

This was really awesome. I loved the characterisation of them both and how they didn't immediately go from problems solved let's be more than friends instead of to friends. The ups and downs of Jareth living as a pet were alternately really amusing and really bleak. You were definitely not the only one who wished Jareth was in that after party scene.

I was so ready to smack Karen and then laughed when Jareth turned human on that table

Wonderful story, I am delighted with the different point of view you've provided. I don't believe I've read a story that has taken this particular approach before. In fact, I know I haven't. This story has made it to my favorites just for its originality alone, which has provided me with food for thought. Well done.

Having found and read this story a full 12 years after it's publication, I have no idea if you will read this review, but I wanted to thank you for writing a fic in which Jareth's owl form both features and does not hoot. I keep finding stories where the authors talk about him hooting and it's been bugging me that no one has done enough research to know that barn owls dont' hoot. So your raptor research has made me very happy. Also, the story was an interesting twist on the usual 'reconnecting' plot, one that I quite enjoyed.

This was fantastic. Made my whole weekend though I'm sorry it's over... I'll spend the rest of the weekend searching for more stories :)

Mmm, I like this. You didn't force them into some big romantic clinch, and you never needed to; in fact, I like it better because you didn't.

However you didn't kill off any hope of them ever being together; and I liked that as well.

And yes, I love the image of Jareth actually SHOWING UP at the impromptu bedroom party.
