XXxxxadisxxxXX chapter 1 . 3/6
Gotta say this entire story is a bit too cuck like for me. I normally don’t like harmed in the first place and this is even worse.
PsylentFox chapter 11 . 5/23/2019
Eh, after reading your author's note I understand why you haven't continued this story. While I am sad it won't be happening, I am also quite aware that 99% of Harem animes are total trash that only revolve around T&A.

Granted, sometimes its entertaining T&A, but T&A with aliens is still T&A.

So, I thought that the writing was good though! The thought of Shirou, Rin, and Saber being pulled into the plan with Rin being the first one 'wing' a Sekirei was something interesting to say the least. I could see why you chased the plot bunny down the hole... before realizing that the hole was too deep and couldn't connect to other tunnels. And that you couldn't dig yourself out.

Honestly, Sekirei is a fun concept- alien beauties who're just looking to find their destined loves so that they can be extremely happy and have lots of babies! However, the whole 'Plan' doesn't make much sense... a battle royale in a city that they've somehow managed to essentially bring under martial law and no one (especially the magi of the world) are either none the wiser or uncaring? More importantly, I know that the MBI is canonically powerful, but somehow manages to evade the eyes of the public and the politicians?

None of it makes any sense, really. Its a fun thought experiment to be sure.

But that doesn't mean I don't disagree with writing crossovers, however. It's just that the particular crossover device where the Sekirei-verse and the Nasu-verse are intertwined just leaves too many holes to fill. Honestly just using the good old "Zelretch" line that everyone seems to be familiar with (honestly, only a few people seem to write about *why* Shirou views Zelretch with such disdain... so much so that with at least Fate/UBW route Shirous I'd think that Shirou would be happy to go to another world and be a true hero... at least as long as he's home early enough to make Saber dinner... or if there is a chance that he would be able to see Saber again if he tried hard enough) would work out well enough.

My personal favorite would be reincarnation. It's easier to pull off, and from a Nasuverse standpoint it could work- the Root, Akasha, is where all souls go before they're spit out again. Considering the multiverse and parallel universes it could work. Even the crossovers that don't have Gaia and Alaya acting against thaumaturgy (but lets be honest, those without the normal penalties ultimately applied to Nasu-verse characters are pure "Power Fantasy 101"... and are a lot of fun. LOL) are esily explained by this.

In my head all of existence is spawning from the Root is this: You have the Nasu-verse. Then you have the infinite number of parallel Nasu-verses. This creates an 'existence bundle' that are all bound together tightly and all extend in the opposite direction as time progresses. Some wink out (destroyed universes... Shirou tries to stop Rin from magically dividing by 0 and the universe dies) and others are born to take their place. Due to how tightly packed together they are it is possible to easily view all of these through the 2nd True Magic and interact with them.

Then we come to the multiverse, the greater space where all 'existence bundles' are bundled together, although not as tightly. These are the other fandoms. It's harder to navigate, but the unique existences that each different bundle offers makes it more entertaining for Zelretch to explore. Thus, more fun for Rin, and more opportunities for Shirou to be a true hero without being thrown in a deep, dank cell and spending the rest of his life being experimented on.

Honestly, reincarnation, where the soul is brought back to the Root and then sent to occupy a new vessel in another world makes the 2nd most sense if Zelretch isn't involved. (Honestly, I would like it if people stopped using Zelretch as a plot device- sure, he gets bored, but sending Shirou into another world just to cure his boredom? No, that honor is reserved for students and those that piss him off. Shirou is a good boy.) With all of that being said, however, the Root essentially sterilizes the souls that are sent to it, wiping away a lot of things so that the reborn person is essentially brand new. However, this is where I think that Shirou's distorted soul and his reality marble really do give him a possible way to 'regain' his lost memories and still be Shirou despite being 'someone else' in the new universe.

"They call me Son Goku, but I know for a fact that my name is Shirou Emyia. I am a SUPER SWORDSMAN!"

"Ah! What?! A SUPER SWORDSMAN!?"

"Not *just* a Super Swordsman, but I have achieved SUPER SWORDSMAN 2! AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHGGGGGHHHH!"

"I-ipossible, his powerlevel is OVER 9000!"
~~~
So honestly I think that approach has a lot to do with how well a crossover can work out.
Honestly, out of all of the options available for the Fate/Sekirei genre to function properly is to move Shirou (or Shirou and Co.) to the Sekirei-verse is either the Kaleidoscope or reincarnation. The number of jarring inconsistencies of having the Sekirei-verse within the Nasu-verse (and vice versa) are just too numerous. Admittedly you do lose a lot of tension involved, such as the fear of the Moonlit World finding out about the Sekirei, but that just isn't worth it considering how powerful the MBI is canonically. The CT WOULD take notice of that, and eventually they'd have one of their informants weasel in and the Sekirei plan would be exposed anyways. While the Sekirei themselves might be immune to weaker forms of suggestion and high level brainwashing... the humans working there wouldn't be.
Anyways, this has gone on looooooonnnnnnnggggggg enough. I wanted to write a short review and here I am writing a personal philosophy essay on the finer parts of crossovers. Sheesh. -_-' Well, I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it!
Lerris chapter 11 . 4/29/2019
Your story was actually decent prior to chapter 10. Even if Sekirei had a weak plotline, the basic premise has potential. It seems a bit odd to bother to come up with 9 decent chapters then suddenly hate it. I didn't read much of this one since there seemed little point. Pity, the crossover certainly can work. I tend to recommend deleting chapter 10 at least, since that totally broke any flow to the story. I knew it was abandoned, but figured it had just ended.
Eh, gotta disagree with the logic behind comparing the Command Seals and the Sekirei Crest (even though I know you're probably not going to see this).
The Command Seals appear before the contracting of the Servant, as a sign of the Master's participation in the Holy Grail War. When Caster uses Rule Breaker, she's not subverting the Command Seals themselves, she's subverting the contract between Rin and Archer, which was made after the Seals appeared. Ergo, contract vanishes, Seals remain. Rule Breaker does nothing but dispel the enchantment it targets - not even dispel, really, but reset it to its original setting, or Archer might have just disappeared.
Sekirei Crests, on the other hand, appear as a side-effect of the contract between Sekirei and Ashikabi. They're intertwined. When Shirou uses Rule Breaker to break the contract, it should reset the Sekirei to pre-Ashikabi mode, before they were Winged, with the Crest also disappearing because it wouldn't have existed in the first place without being Winged.
Same thing if he targeted the Crest and not the contract specifically, because, again, THEY ARE SO INTERTWINED THEY MIGHT AS WELL BE THE SAME THING.
Don't get me wrong, what you have here is interesting from a story perspective. But I am not convinced that your logic and interpretation of how Rule Breaker and the Sekirei Crests work is correct.
Best last chapter ever
Meddlesome Guy chapter 10 . 3/8/2018
You are one stupid gay bitch. You were the one who decided to write a spin-off of In Flight and later down the road you are bitching about it. It is tragic knowing it took you several chapters before realizing that you don't like what you are doing. That is also the reason why I cannot l, in good will, fault you for your opinion aboute Fate series.
Your mind is as confused as your gender. Bitch.
