...also, you said sokka is 2 years younger than zuko, but he is only one year younger (also, so is mae).

aang is 12, katara, azula and tai lee are 14, sokka and mae are 15, zuko is 16.

Oh no! Why did Katara do that? You don't just hit the fire prince like a dummy. Great now were all gonna die. Where's Iroh?!

When i saw this updated I will admit part of me hoped it was a chapter not an Author's Note saying its discontinued (belive me its common, sadly enough). And when I reread the whole story I was so excited that you haven't abandon this epic story. :D

I don't think Zuko knows that Sokka is the prince of the southern water tribe. Its not like Sokka told them his father is a Chief (I betcha Iroh knows or suspects). Plus I don't think the South has the same standard of royalty like the North does; because if they did then wouldn't Sokka have a chance on Yue's hand in marriage and such in canon? He would have been a better choice for a son-in-law than that douche that failed very miserably to kill Zhoe/Iroh in that one episode. As well I always figured partly Sokka being bitter towards his sister in the first book besides her being a bender it may because she is a bender, people at the village would think or want her to be the next in line after their father being Chief. That would be something that Sokka & Zuko have in common (Ozai wants Azula to be Fire Lord after him not Zuko; the other difference is Hakoda is a better father).

Can't wait for Zuko and Sokka later to have sword lessons to each other. Because I would think Zuko would want Sokka to know how to properly defend himself in a fight (plus peace of mind for Zuko knowing that Sokka could take care of himself then him worrying about him during a battle or whatever). As well if it happens; Sokka maybe being captured by the Southern Water Tribe warriors and Hakoda meeting him in a tent to "talk" to the fire nation dude and being like "wtf sokka?!" oh that would turn out bad...people would think Sokka is a traitor... oh such drama.

Now about this chapter you cruelly ended in a cliffhanger. :P

The only thing I'm curious is why Katara hasn't realized her brother is basically wearing Zuko's clothes (I figured Sokka is wearing Zuko's clothes because they are the same age and size & plus I would think Iroh would have gotten him to do wear them not any of the crew's extra outfits). Because why would her brother not be wearing his normal southern water tribe clothes if he followed her, as i figured that is why he is there in the island.

And of course I don't blame Katara attacking Zuko. But seriously how is Sokka going to get them NOT to kill each other? And ooh, I super can't wait for Sokka to be in the middle of Katara and Zuko both telling him to come with them. Who will he choose? :P
