This is so beautiful and amazingly well written. It's so wonderful that even though I read this a few days ago, I didn't review because I didn't know what to say. I still don't know what to saybut I thought I should review because this is truely terrific. I love your other Doctor Who/Torchwood stories, so even though you haven't been posting any DW/TW fics, I would really enjoy it if you did. Keep up the fantastic work!

"The Hollow Men" is a favorite poem of mine. I don't know what better to say about your piece than that you made it even more fantastically sad.

This is my favorite of all your writing. He's cracked a thousand times, but we've never seen him quite so broken as he gets after he, for all intents and purposes, destroys Donna.

I might add that I love the way you call the Master his "best enemy". It's about the most accurate way to describe two beings so old and tangled.
