NKubie chapter 20 . 7/6 Sorry I didn't read and review each chapter, but I was kind of reading in the fly. Thought I'd go back and read a story of yours that I've never read. This was such a sweet beginning to what would become your writing career, Melanie! I'm glad I got to see your first step! Stay safe and well! xo Nan |
ChrisDGoosey chapter 20 . 1/19 It’s been years since I read this but I thought I would go back to the beginning. I had forgotten how tentatively this was put out there at the time. A pure gold partnership though, between writer and beta. Lovely story. |
SLKerouac chapter 20 . 10/5/2019 So loved your story! Have read several other of your stories. Keep writing! |
Blistful2006 chapter 19 . 6/30/2019 I so loved them together. Such a sad topic to cover. What a terrible disease for all involved. Thanks for sharing |
Payton79 chapter 20 . 2/7/2019 So this was your first story? How sweet. It was really interesting to see how you started here. |
Guest chapter 15 . 1/21/2019 There you go! NOW it is not charity or economic imbalance for Bella: she can contribute something that Edward really truly NEEDS! And finish her degree on line, I betcha. |
Guest chapter 12 . 1/21/2019 My Ex husband has Alzheimer's on both sides of his family tree. His Grandma had it, and his recently deceased mother was diagnosed with it (I think the COPD is what actually killed her, tho'). It make me concerned for my son. Fortunately, it does NOT seem to run thru MY side of the family. So I know Bella's fears are real, but she is not thinking it thru: the way she's going, she will die of exposure, malnutrition or something else WAY before she even manifests symptoms of Alzheimer's. |
Guest chapter 11 . 1/21/2019 He needs to take Bella to the local Gov't Eldercare organization and see what help she can qualify for. She could also possibly get grants to go back to school; a section-8 voucher for decent housing. |
Guest chapter 8 . 1/21/2019 It would have come out eventually (that he was "keeping watch over her") and she would have felt more betrayed the later it took for him to admit it. I think she will give him Honesty points when she calms down. I think she is doing something she wants to hide and that is where all the anger stems from: she doesn't want him to find out. |
Guest chapter 5 . 1/21/2019 Maybe offer her a job? "We need to bring in a different demographic to the Coffee shop to keep business growing, so we need a different demographic of SERVERS to lure them in. Can ya help a fella out?" |
