I love this fic. A Snape that isn't feeling dependent on Lily(or anyone for that matter) is rare and your atory deserve more views. Sad that it is abandoned though.

I'm so glad you updated again! Love this fic, love Snape's nastiness, love how clueless and also nasty Lily is, love how bumbling James is, but I'd really like to see some comeuppance for Sirius for setting up James and Lily to be raped. Because he took Lily's consent away, and in a way James as well.
Harry's so horrible-are we going to see a little bit of the good we saw in canon? Some of his morality survived the Dursleys; will it survive Lily & James too?

This is a really interesting take. Read the whole story in one sitting and now a bit sad that there isn't more to devour! But enjoyed it all the same. Do update if you can find the time... This is one of the more unusual stories I've read in the fanfic genre.

Lilly should have told Sev what happened to her all those years ago...the wizard equivalent of a date rape drug, waking up in a vulnerable position, immediately losing Sev's friendship, basically marrying your rapist...am I reading this right? Lots of suspension of belief, I'm afraid. Meanwhile, hermoine's story seems unrelated. It's been linked only casually so far.

I just discovered this, and it is very interesting. JKR's world without the unreasonable optimism for Gryffindors and unreasonable evil for Slytherins. I also like the non-perfect Lily, who seems much more like someone who would have been friends with Severus than usual. Severus also seems like a misanthrope who had a terrible life this far, but who also actually got some closure on the Lily situation (unlike in canon) before she ripped it all open again. His reasons for interviewing at Hogwarts actually make sense. Sirius is very creepy, but kind of cluelessly so. I hope you will keep going.

Honestly, it's very hard to feel sympathetic to Lily in this story. She's married and a mother and there really is no excuse for her to be chasing after a guy who wants nothing to do with her. Basically, she comes off like a selfish slag. She needs to divorce her husband or realize he wasn't that bad in the first place if she married him.
