flaflou59 chapter 1 . 3/5/2012 Oh. Gosh. Two things: -I really like this fanfic, really, it's great continue. -Rarity's music, What Is Love, I was listening to it when reading, and I felt like electricity passing through me because it's the third time today something like this happen. First I see my name and a lastname looking just like mine except the "a" turned into an "e" on TV. Then while my mom was watching a movie in her room and I was in the kitchen ( which is NOT close to my parents's room), I begin to hum the soudtrack of Philadelphia; guess which movie she was watching when I entered the room? And now, this. I really can't believe it, it starting to freak me out! Nah, just kidding, anyway I just wanted to write so I had the chance to tell you I REALLY appriciated you fic, so go on & continue! |
Kalvorax chapter 1 . 10/4/2011 Awesome way of conveying(spelling plz) the atmosphere. |
XNULLX chapter 1 . 9/13/2011 Hm... well. Given the way this story was written, and the content, it was a huge risk. Writing about music is hard, since the reader can't hear it, especially if there are no lyrics or they don't know the song. Trying to write something like a rave effectively is a bold move, and parts of it definitely worked. Each of the man 6's attitudes, especially Pinkie's, were handled well, and there was quite a bit that served to make the story fun and interesting. I particularly liked Vinyl's thoughts, they were really entertaining. Focusing on her exhaustion after a night of manning the turntable was cool too, and she served as the glue to tie everything else together. I definitely like the overall idea, and it was mostly successful, it just feels like something was lost in translation due to the nature of a rave in contrast to reading about one. The quick transitioning between songs definitely had something to do with it, and made things a little hard to follow in terms of the different songs that were being played. It kinda feels like there should have been more description in order to make the reader feel more like they were there, but that isn't too much of an issue, especially never having been to something like this. Overall, though, this was definitely a cool idea, and not something easy to write. I liked it, and it was definitely nice to see something different. Not bad at all! |
Ponydora Prancypants chapter 1 . 9/13/2011 Yeah, I'm going to be honest here. This story is pretty much my favorite thing ever. |
chesa80 chapter 1 . 9/13/2011 Loved this so much, you rock. |
JackleTheKitsune chapter 1 . 9/13/2011 Amazing as always... But, if you want, i can make some suggestions... For Twilight, something that shows dedication and is well know enough for others to recognize it. (Harder Better Faster Stronger, Daft Punk) Rarity would have a slower, more trance like beat to highlight her elegance. However, it also must highlight her beauty... (Pretty Rave Girl, I am X-ray) Pinkie... this one is almost too easy... She is the party pony, she needs something that parties (Wonderland, Dj Satomi) Applejack... she is a harder one. She is simpler, and thus the styles found in a rave put her out of place. An Older more established song that was popular outside the genre would serve better. (Sandstorm, DaRude) Fluttershy, she is soft and hates the spotlight. However when she cuts loose everypony notices. (I can't dance, Basslovers united) Rainbow Dash, Bold and brash... It can have a tune of romance but most oftenly it reflects her pride and ego. (Colors of the Rainbow, Dj Skeptyk) I hoped these helped... although i can think of three others for Pinkie Pie... Anyway, thanks for the story again. |
