Oh that is really funny, how Ash is making a big deal out of something that is relatively minor and by the sounds of it, he does it often. And you say you go through this often in your own realationship; I can see how this would easily frustrate you.

I honestly couldn't guess for sure but I was sorta guessing at condoms something else that was anti-pregnancy when you mentioned the Mature theme

Anyway, fics where Ash and May get together are my personal favorites but it's nice to see fics showcasing little situations when they're already together, especially when they're this well written by someone well experienced in writing good stories

Now this is pretty much the exact opposite that I have been slowly evolving into as my stories get put up but this just proves that you don't need a good amount of description to make a good story. Too bad it always seems like my conversations seem to make one's mind wander if they go on too long.

I have to say that my mind was starting to wander towards the condom as well, especially considering your mention of the "mature theme" at the beginning of the fic, but as another reviewer already stated the underwear issue seems to suit Ash better. And of course, while reading about how their relationship grows from being the best of friends to a true relationship is always fun, it's always nice to read about simple interactions such as this after they are already together.

Very nice, and again a great example of how descriptions don't always rule the story. Keep 'em coming!

Well, I wouldn't need descriptions if I could write dialogue that is as engaging as yours. You do really well at keeping lengthy conversations together without making them feel very long. I think the shorter poking-fun remarks, especially, are really effective at making the conversation realistic. Perhaps this isn't really relevant, but I noticed that your recent stories have all revolved around older Ash and May, not that I mind at all, but it's interesting that they are sort of AU yet not AU at the same time, and your work stands out because it shows character development due to age while also keeping them in character at the same time.

Oh my goodness, that was absolutely hilarious! I just about died laughing reading this. Great work! I thought that Ash was talking about condoms as well, but then this is Ash we're talking about...Lol the underwear thing was so much funnier though and so much more Ash. Nice job with this story. It seems that a dialogue-oriented story suits you just as well as a descriptive one.
