I really like this story and yoir writing. All tbe characters were in character and that was awesome.

Gibbs was epically spot on in this! Of course, you did a great job with everyone, but in two spoken lines, you summed him up perfectly! Excellent.

Oh, this whole thing is PERFECT. The swapping point of view between two people who want this so very much and are convinced they can't HAVE what they want...or will screw up what they want. SO well done. I love who you handled the scent-induced flashback...and how she had come out of it before getting to Tony's. I LOVE LOVE *LOVE* your commentary on Bollywood and the group dance numbers, inefficient storytelling, and the films being a million hours long. I LOVE Gibbs telling Tony to FIX IT...and Tony responding with "she started it" and then both Tony & Ziva deciding that they will prove the fallacy of rule 12 and that, if he doesn't go along with it, the consequences are worth it. I LOVE this whole thing.

I generally have a rule about multi-chaptered stories - I'm lazy and impatient - but I made an exception tonight and I'm really glad I did. You are remarkably good at dialogue; I love the Gibbs and Tony exchange in an earlier chapter, in which Gibbs said to finish it, Tony said she started it, and Gibbs said, yeah, I'm asking you to finish it. It just sounded like something Gibbs would say. & Tony's steely humor throughout the piece felt like him too. Their conversation in the final chapter didn't feel cliche or silly or forced, it felt honest, and I liked that. It's insanely hard to write honest dialogue for these two getting together and you pulled it off. Definitely appreciated it.

I also liked the touch of Bollywood. There aren't many stories that reference it, and as a South Asian American, I appreciated the little wink at the long run time, inefficient storytelling, and group dance numbers. I also like the way Ziva had a moment in the store, and how that led her to Tony. It was just a really unusual way to put them together and I thought it was well thought-out.

The whole story is quite well thought-out. You took your time, the chapters were a manageable length (which is something I envy you for, because I ramble like nobody's business) and everyone sounded like themselves.

Really nicely done. It hit the spot.

I have absolutely zero business in reviewing this story, but it holds a universal theme, so I was able to get on board.

Anyway, 2 lines caught me in this chapter:

"His new maturity begins to lose to old insecurities." So nicely phrased.

and

"and all he can think is that he loved her last night?" - just because for whatever reason, it gave me a swoop.

Squee, I like it! I like it, I like it!

Haha, can you tell I'm excited? I've already watched the premiere and I won't spoil it for you in case you haven't, but I like it too.

It's very sweet, this chapter :D I'm glad they have a happy ending!
