Hi, I just want to thank you so much for writing this story. I had bought Animal Parade several years ago, but had never really played it. When I started playing it a few months ago, I decided to look up fanfiction for the game, and I found your story. This story made me fall in love with Chase. It made me adore Gill, and it made me unable to look at any of the characters in the same way ever again. It's seriously one of the best stories I've ever read.

Your Angela is so lovely. She's such a sweet and open and loving character. I just loved seeing the ways that she interacted with the different characters. Her relationships with Chase, Gill and Luke were lovely. She's just such a striking POV character; you did such a good job of developing her from what little characterization the game gave you. I really loved the way that Angela felt towards all of her friends. The way that she fell in love with Chase really wasn't elevated above the way that she felt for Gill, or the way that she cared for Luke, either. She loved them all, and even if it was 'only' friendship for Luke and Gill, I love the way that you elevated the friendship aspect of her relationships with all three of them. They were all so close, like a family. It really satisfied my love for the found-family trope, haha. Close platonic bonds are also one of my favourite things, so it was so nice to see that focused on, and to see the romance with Chase grow naturally out of her friendship with him.

I really especially love your characterization for both Gill and Chase. Initially, when I first started to play Animal Parade, I kind of wondered why both characters were in the same game, since they both have such 'jerk' personalities. Your story made both of them totally unique in my eyes. They're only similar in their negativity; they deal with their trauma in different ways, and... ahhhh, it's hard to explain. Your story made me love them both so much; Gill's illness and his growing depression, and Chase's fear and PTSD were so hard for me to read; I loved the characters that you wrote and it hurt to see them hurting so badly as well.

I really appreciate the way that you dealt with grief and depression in this story. You just... handled it so realistically; the characters all felt so human and their reactions to the events felt so real. The story was so heavy within the last ten or so chapters that it was emotionally difficult for me to read, and I imagine that it must have been difficult for you to write as well, but I'm glad that I pushed through and read it, and I'm so glad that you wrote it as well. The lessons that Gill and Chase learned, about love and friendship and how it's worth holding onto even if it hurts... I don't know... I think that's going to stick with me for a long time. I just finished the story yesterday, and I'm still kind of in shock by it all. The tears are delayed by the shock, but they're coming :')

There's a lot more I'd like to say, but I'm not sure how to. I just want to say that this story means a lot to me, and it's going to affect the way that I see Animal Parade forever. Completing this story was such an incredible accomplishment; congratulations! If you do ever publish this as an original story, please let us know somehow; I'd love to support you with it. Thank you again for writing this story; I'm definitely going to reread it and enjoy it again and again.

I cannot believe this story is over! This story gave me a whirlwind of emotions. You are a fantastic writer, and your descriptions throughout the story really made it come to life. Your characterizations were spot on. Although this story took a turn for the worse with Gill's illness, you still managed to bring humor to help ease the pain. That is a talent! It really made the story so much better. I am glad you decided to turn this into an original work to try to publish. Please let me know when you finish writing it and decide to publish it! That ending! I don't know how to feel now that this story is over. I've been following it for such a long time (although this is the first time I've posted a review, sorry!) that it's kinda sad to know we won't get anymore updates. The ending was beautiful though. Caught Clueless was one of my first few Animal Parade fanfics and I've always adored the plot progression, the depth in all the characters, and its utter refusal in following a typical romance story. Angela was so flawed and real that it was utterly relatable, and the guys were so purely HUMAN that the dynamics were beautiful. The ups and downs, the ending, Roscoe and Ally, oh my gosh all of it was worth all those late nights I would read your updates (albeit not immediately hehe real life caught up in the most troublesome of ways).

AND WHAT IS THIS I SEE? CAUGHT CLUELESS BEING REWORKED AS AN ORIGINAL STORY TO PUBLISH? WUUUUT? GURL GO FOR IT AND BEST OF LUC Please let us know when that happens XDD

The moment I saw the email I went back and read a few chapters as I didn't want it to end. Such a wonderful ending, it was heart warming. Wow you ended this so wonderfully! I particularly loved the quote "Friendship, like gravity and air, doesn't tell you it's there, it just is. It doesn't need to be announced because it quietly announces itself." It's so beautiful! :') I still remember reading this story for the first time all those years ago and falling in love with it right away. I'm so glad you kept it going! I can't tell you how happy I was when I received an email notification for this story! Honestly, Caught Clueless is incredible and it's one of my favourite stories, without limiting it to FanFiction. I first read this about three years ago, I believe, and I've lost count to how many times I've reread it. I feel terrible for only reviewing now...
The ending was so imperfectly perfect and I'm absolutely relieved that Gill didn't die! I was holding my breath while reading (amidst the tears, of course) praying that it wouldn't end in tragedy. Their ending is far from happy, but I'm glad you've given them hope. It made me sad, but I love how you've written Chase in this chapter - his raw emotion and vulnerability was heartbreaking. The necklace, him CRYING, the affection between both him, Gill and Angela, and finally their group hug at the end... I am not okay D':

you kmow i came here for some fluff and romance and friendship and it turns out to angst, well your writing is good just it isnt the right plot for me now but i really appreciate it and probably will read it again at the right mood, BUT i highly suggest that you put angst on the tags
