bottle lightning blue chapter 1 . 10/6/2011 I. Have. Arrived -flips hair- My divalicious entrance aside, RODERICH NOOOOOO oh you poor melancholy man. This was fantastic. I am so ridiculously pleasantly surprised at how well you captured these characters, especially Austria. And the tone of this is one of my favorite things. It's nostalgic and melancholy, and just carries some of the ease of those lazy Saturday mornings. It pulls at the heartstrings just right, and the part where he taught her to play again was such a beautifully tender moment. Which you executed wonderfully, I might add. To me it just read (and feels) like the piano is more than just a pasttime for Austria, you know? (of course you do, you're freaking brilliant). Like some kind of outlet for him, and one that allowed him and Hungary that sweet little moment. Gosh I can't even put my thoughts into decent words right now, but this was just lovely. Fantastic job, m'dear. WHY ARE YOU SO DAMN GOOD AT CHARACTERIZING PEOPLE? I can't do it with characters that aren't mine at all, yet you make it seem like a total breeze. |
