Hi! I bumped into your story because another author suggest this story if I want to read another story about Kaito-Akako. And here I found myself amazed. I like how you describe every character in a way Aoyama describe till now. Yeah, you know Kaito being a narcisstic, perv and so fond of himself, Hakuba with flirting to Akako, Akako with her dark side (especially with her dummies and when she kicked Nakamori-keibu's hand) and Aoko with her jelousy side. I like your premise of story which connected to the title of this story. I also like the way you entertwined DC characters to this fandom. Honestly I didn't expect Vermouth would be Kisa, but then again she is the mistress of disguised or the cursed woman on this story. Even the ending is great because we all know what will happen on canon (Aoyama really like this kind of childhood-friend-crush, right) but it still give the possibility of another ending and of course I love your ending scene. It shows much about the 4 main characters relationship and I agree with it.

A nice surprise I've get, findigg this story... I haven't read the companion piece (yet?) but it doesn't added a single bit of confusion sinc ethe whole story as standing pretty fine on its own.

Well, how to begin? I wouldn't lie, but it was mainly to find a story about my favorite witch that I've tried this one, since story where she gets the spotlight are harder to find than roses in winter, so good one... Curse you, fandom...
But this one kept its promise until the end... I've loved the interraction between the whole cast, how you've used wonderfully all the clues about Kaito's parents's past... no matter if it was the Phantom lady or the fact that Toichi was Vermouth and Yukiko's teacher...

You've chosen to keep the love between the witch and the thief one-sided, and even if I couldn't said I as hoping it would end otherwhise, I must said that it was suited to the story... Unrequited love story could have their charm, and more sweet than bitter, for once... The friendship between the two was still heartwarming after all...

hey there, i'm quite surprised to see that you've finally updated. but when you did...I WAS ECSTATIC! I mean i was almost giving up on following this story because its been years since you've last updated. but i guess my patience has really paid off well. although the ending was kind of bittersweet because Akako didn't end up with Kaito, i was also happy and satisfied because this was kind of realistic and not kind of cliche... know what i mean? also you showed a softer and more humane side of Akako which was not always shown in the series. And oh by the way, can make a sequel out of this? With Akako and Hakuba as the main characters? I'm kind of curious where would their relationship go if given a chance. *winks* ;)

Wonderful chapter as always. Great detail and only a few spelling and grammar mistakes. Characterization is on the spot. Overall you're one of my favorite authors. I love this fic and the plot.

The heist itself was unique. I like the marionettes, contributing to the fact that Phantom Lady is known for her gruesome tricks. A bit scary but awesome.

Kisa(is vermouth right?) her reasons and past sounds very logical, liking Toichi and boss is jealous. Very deep and emotional.

The gem! So that's why Akako kept feeling weird. It's attached to her :o then Kaito gets attached to it and he's dying D: oh and then the dagger. Excellent cliffhanger that leaves you somewhat satisfied but yearning for more.
