Dunno if you are still lurking around, or if you have shelved this project for good (likely - it's been nearly three and a half years since you last updated). I wanted to say, however, that I felt that, of all the stories on this site - regardless of subject matter, genre, or scope - yours is truly impressive. It is what the game could have been, if there had been enough people of such bold caliber in BW/EA. For the glimpse into such a potent world, I thank you.

I'm loving this Doctor Umbra character. I'm happy to see someone putting Cassandra in her place. love this fic and all the time you put into it, keep up the great work.

I wanted to save this chapter for later so I could read over it a few times.

Loved the observations Ms. 'Umbra' had about Shepard, her life, her history, and with just a few well placed blows was able to create openings in the prosecution's armor.

Let's hope the next chapter shows Gianna letting her help Shepard, because she looks like she could use it.

I am writing this just reading what Chakwas said. I never like her character in fan fiction, but right now I want to fucking kill her.

For what it's worth, I've always enjoyed this story because you've set up enough original characters that fulfill their purposes and change enough of the original cast to fit this version of post-Reaper War to keep things interesting.

Here's hoping you have an opportunity to write more in the future.
