Shieldage chapter 3 . 5/15/2018 Interesting mystery. I guess the battery reclamation tech doesn't work? If they were sourcing a heavily concentrated amount of toxic waste to disable the Planeteer rings there's easier ways to do that and, Er, I can't remember from the last story if this group of Planeteers can have their powers disabled by pollution. Heh, Facebook is not something I worry about as I am openly pansexual and my personal life is boring in general. Good intro for the Planeteers' opposition and some returning faces in weird places. |
Missgoldy chapter 10 . 4/14/2018 And that wraps up another terrific fic. Mystery. Thriller. Adventure. It had it all. Your characterisations are so well rounded and the pace is relentless, hurling the reader through various locations and heart-thumping events. Amazing job. Will start reviewing the final fic in the series next week :-) |
Missgoldy chapter 9 . 4/14/2018 The truth is out. Bligh is covering her tracks and the Planeteers have seemingly been vindicated. Thank goodness! Gi getting shot was unexpected... Kwame’s reaction was very telling... |
Missgoldy chapter 8 . 4/14/2018 Great chapter, you can tell that they’re back on their feet and ready to make a move. Was a surprise to see Devorux again, was sure W had barbecued him. Still a creep, though... |
Missgoldy chapter 7 . 4/14/2018 And again, simply devestated for Ma-Ti, rendered catatonic as a result of his parents wishes. You’ve written his character in such an intriguing way... he’s so quiet and unassuming, yet wields a power that may just be too much for him to manage. OMG, Linka’s rapidfire Russian outburst was hilarious. |
Missgoldy chapter 6 . 4/13/2018 So, some heavy reading here. My heart really goes out to Ma-Ti. The emotional burden he’s carrying is immense. Knowing how important his role is towards the ‘greater good’ does not diminish or lesson the turmoil going on with his family. Really heartbreaking. And Linka has also learnt a hard lesson. Acting in the interests of ‘the big picture’ has had dire concequences. |
Missgoldy chapter 5 . 4/13/2018 I love this chapter for so many reasons. 1. Trish. As a writer, you could have taken the easy road. Bad girl made good, helping the Planeteers in their moment of need. I almost would have been disappointed if she’d kept her word and their location. But instead, she sold them out (again) and unapologetically so. She’s a hardened character and almost without empathy. 2. Stumm. There’s a malignant force slowly taking him over and it’s frightening to see. 3. Wheeler and Linka. You see Linka softening a little. She has a much better grasp on Wheeler’s personality than she let’s on. The climatic kiss and subsequent rejection is frustrating. You can’t help but feel for him... he’s been through hell already. |
Missgoldy chapter 4 . 4/13/2018 Poor Wheeler seems to be attracting the worst luck possible in this fic :-( The exchange between Gi and Trish was uncomfortable. No wonder she felt three feet tall. I love how you write Trish. She’s rough, unapologetic and brash. Brutally honest and at times, intimidating. The reclaimer mystery is intriguing... |
Missgoldy chapter 3 . 4/13/2018 Terrific chapter. From the frantic, heart-stopping pace of events in the apartment, to the police interviews, then the Trash Alley tabloid issues. It’s all urgent, and the consequences of the life they’ve been exposed to is pretty frightening. You really nail the stress and suspense. The details are great: like the wind power drawn forth in the apartment making Wheeler’s eyes stream uncontrollably) |
Missgoldy chapter 2 . 4/5/2018 Uh. I wanna slap Mrs Petrova. At least we know where Linka gets her frostiness and grim determination from. Laughed out loud when she licked Wheeler’s ear though at the fundraiser, though. Lizzie’s a great character. She has a manic energy very well suited to her job. |
Missgoldy chapter 1 . 4/5/2018 Okay, so my aim is to wrap up my reviews on this fic because I’m currently enthralled in your new fic and trying hard not to get my wires crossed! The ‘The Power is Yours’ campaigns are a great touch. Spreading the word and educating the people between missions. Stumm and Bligh are still up to their old tricks. You write Bligh so we’ll. Morally ambiguous and tough as nails. The woman can most definitely hold her own in a room of men. The world of a celebrity – being thrust unwillingly into the spotlight and the media frenzy that goes along with it. I can absolutely believe that this would happen. Six months have passed and they’ve hit the ground running. Awesome job setting things up! |
Guest chapter 11 . 4/2/2018 Dude, I cannot tell you how psyched I am for you to be finishing this! |
Arturo Serrano chapter 11 . 3/30/2018 Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! You're by far the best Captain Planet fanficcer around, and the world needs as many of your stories as you feel like giving us. |
Erico chapter 11 . 3/30/2018 Oh, you magnificent bastard. I've been wondering for a year if you were going to pick this up, and now... Well. It's the Planeteers versus Stumm and his backer, Mr. Spiritual "Survival of the Fittest" death and decay. One last showdown with the fate of the world? Bring it. -Erico |
