Obviously this fic is ancient and you’ve had many more triumphs in the fanfiction world since then (I’m looking at you, Chasing Moonlight and One Last Year, both of which I’ve also loved to pieces)! But you encouraged people in your author’s note to send you their opinions even years in the future, and that’s what I’m here to do.

I first started reading Finding Gravity in 2013, and I’ve loved it and the rest of your work. I began reading fanfiction in 2012, and you were one of the first authors ever that I adored. I’ve been keeping up with your stuff since, and the growth I’ve seen in you is incredible. Fighting Gravity especially is one I’ve loved. I’ve read it through many times, and it’s made me cry countless tears of both sorrow and joy. Even now after seven years, your skill at creating (or characterizing) characters who the reader can get so invested in and their heartstrings tangled in amazes me. Seriously, this fic is So Good. So thank you for all the time you spent on it.

Thank you, also, for all your works being there to inspire me and entertain me when I was growing up. It’s thanks to authors like you, and Lyxie, and other talented individuals across this site who have given me the inspiration and courage to write, which is something I always wanted to do. I hope you never stop writing for Zelda—if we do, we’ll be losing someone truly great.

I know you don’t really reply to reviews, but I really just wanted to spill this all to you after all this time and express my deep joy and gratitude for you and your work. I hope you’re well in this current outbreak, and I wish you the best in both real life and in fanfiction.

For the past few days I have been obsessively reading this fic and abandoning my studies and all I can say is that this is worth it. Love all the world building (I have a soft spot for Sci-Fi AUs) the plot (although it can be a bit slow at times) and all the wonderful characters and their relationship. Midna and dark link & Zelda and link is just *keysmashing*
Needless to say, I will be rereading.

Masterful. That's the only word for it.

I shirked a fair amount of work to read a sentence here, a paragraph there. This is easily the best fanfic I have ever written, and the thing that breaks my heart is that it's so wrapped up in Zelda that I don't think this could be transplanted into an original work. This deserves publication.

I know people who are less real than the characters you've written. All of the interactions, the inner monologues, the conflicts were perfect. They all feel like they did in the games, or would have if they had been actual characters district from Link.

Your integration of the various games into the nations was lovely. Part of me wanted more out of Onyx and Veran, but I understand why the focus was where it was. Particularly, I enjoyed the political climate you created, especially as it pertained to Twilight.

Speaking of, Dark's sacrifice was beautiful. Easily my favorite part of the whole story. His dynamic with Midna was great. I did not expect her to be be favorite character in this story, especially since I'm generally so gung ho about Link.

I wasn't super here for the way Link caught feelings for Zelda at first, but once you wove destiny in so hard I was better with it. The whole business with the Sages was excellent and I was with you the whole way for that. It was nice to see Nabooru get some spotlight, I've always really liked her.

I wish I could write like you. Everything is so clean, nothing without meaning or purpose, nothing forgotten.

Thank you for writing this. I could go on for a lot longer, but this review would probably start approaching the story's word count if I did.

Your're writing is phenomenal. The chapters following Dark's death, goddesses bless his soul, gave me the feels. I never before read such well written agony and anguish on this site. Midna took it hard, and i felt it too. Ive been reading this over the past week im so damn hooked.

I don't normally comment but I felt the need to with this one. You managed to take characters I don't care about and make them some of my favorites (Cough... Dark... Cough). And you told a fantastic story. Your use of Vatti was really smart seeing as he's a kinda B villain typically. Just wanted to express how much I enjoyed this one. Can't wait to read more of your work.

Nabooru and vaati...(SO FRIKKIN CUTE) Dark and Midna (OH GODDD, so many feels.. they are perfect for each other) ... ZELDA AND LINK (d'awwwwwwwww)... These pairings are just so perfect and amazing and AHHHHH *fangirl flails at you*
