OH MY GOOOOD. I did NOT expect that plot twist, holy shit! Starscream ACTUALLY betrayed the autobots and KILLED (?) MEGATRON HIMSELF. I am so disappointed and happy for Starscream at the same time. And I am IMPRESSED by his plan. You are a GENIOUS writer! Starscream was so cunning and genious in this, I feel like I fell in love with him again and I can't wait to see what the sequel brings! Obviously, Starscream's emotions are more complex towards the Autobots now, so I'm curious what he is going to do with Optimus. Maybe he will stay the leader of the Deceptions, but he could be a good leader and lead the war to a peaceful end? I loved this story so much and the plot twist gave me an adrenaline rush

Ok, I'll admit that Arcee was being harsh and unfair and accusing him after he threw Megatron out the window, but still! *moans in frustration* Aawwww!

You know what? I'm very, very deeply annoyed by Optimus Pro-Human attitude. He lways put humanbefore his own species,m wich in itself is unnatural. He would let a Cybertronian die if he can safe a human. If a HUMAN let another human dies to save someone fo another species, they'd be called evil. I don't see how this is 'good' in any way. Maybe its not his intention, but his actions are slowly pusshing the Cybertronian race towrds extinction just as much as Megatron's are. he should put HIS OWN species as a priority!

I've always thought that Arcee reacted all out ofproportion in that episode. It is WAR for frag's sake! Bots dies! Its how it is! She always get to my nerves... No surprise Starscream prefered to go solo.

Brilliant chapter!

Starscream could still spin this to his advantage with Optimus if he doesn't really want to be alone. He can always say that there would have been much more "bloodshed" if he had not taken control of the Decepticons. Now that he has control of the Decepticons and Optimus Prime in custody, he can negotiate the end of the war for the benefit of the Decepticons. Really, if he didn't have Prime in custody, how likely would the Autobots be to allow the new leader of the Decepticons near Prime? Not very.

I can't exactly say I am surprised. A part of me did expect the Autobot's plan to go smoothly and that they'd overthrow Megatron, but I figured a writer like you wouldn't settle for something so simple.

This vaguely reminds me of the Robots in Disguise issue... Heavy is the Head. I'd like to see a sequel from you! That will be quite interesting, i think. What will Starscream do with his new power? Looks like he's realized the burden of proper responsibility for the first time. I wonder how his ego will deal with this kinda thing. According to normal Starscream tradition, his reign of glory never lasts.
