Jeannie is a very interesting character to me, and I found it strange that there were no stories about her and the Joker. How nice I found this one!

Reading the way Jack slowly falls into a hole and becomes the Joker made me very anxious. I like that you showed him so rude and sarcastic, because he fits in as he will in the future. I'd also like to highlight how good it is to read Jeannie as a fairly ordinary person, not as a super woman or as someone with a weak spirit.

I admit, the love of Jack and Jeannie scares me: it is so intense, cute and too painful, because you know that in the end everything will be a disaster. But that didn't stop me from reading.

Finally, you write wonderful, putting all the pieces together at the end without any problem. What a great job!

The only way I could picture Joker raping anyone is if he thought it'd be funny at the time. Other than that...no he's certainly not a sex offender.

This was the first Joker story I read and it still is my favorite. All the characters are realistic and believable. I have read this story multiple time and I still enjoy it!

This chapter killed me. It made me want to cry. I feel so horrible for both of them. Jack must be completely ripped to shreds. I really hope they end up together in the end, but I feel like by that point, he'll be too far gone. I'm gonna go ahead and read the sequel now. I just want to let you know that this story moved me. It was beautiful. There were a lot of funny parts, and really sweet parts, and just really intense parts. You are a really gifted writer.

Extremely well-written! The development of Jack to Joker is one of the most realistic that I've read in the longest time! Completely in sync and believable with the Nolan version and the comics. I don't think any other fic will match up to this for reading for quite a while! Thank you for this wonderful piece of writing!

Wow, what an absolutely brilliant story. I love it so much! I just finished reading the whole thing and just...wow. It's amazing. I love your interpretation of Jack's descent into madness and I love Jeannie's character. Everything about this is brilliant! I'm going to read the sequel right now! Haha x

A few days ago, i googled around, trying to find a good Jeannie/Jack (Joker) fanfic, and I found basically no good ones, no one that was really well-written or wrote about Jeannie and Jacks lives, from when they were kids to adults. Then I found this fic. And wow. I can't find a better word to describe this fic. This fic is a masterpiece, and if this was a book; this would be my new favorite book, definitely. I read the 45 chapters in 2-3 days (keep in mind that I was working these days, so I didn't have time to sit and read all day: which I wish that I had had, having to work instead of continuing reading it was not fun).
I can't tell you how many times this story made me feel happy, sad, completely sick and left me with tears in my eyes. Gosh. What a masterpiece. Brilliant fanfic, I have already continued on Shatter, so now I'm going to get back to reading it, hehe. We'll see how many days (hours maybe) that takes me to read hehe ;)
