I can't recall if I've commented on this one before, but it's great. Would love to read about the actual tournament, especially if it's from his daughter's perspective. When Marik and Bakura arrive there's going to be some serious tension I would expect, especially on Mai's part. Might be interesting to see Sakura's reaction as badass Aunt Mai tries not to shudder in the presence of this raging pretty boy from Egypt.

Confession Time: I have been using your Yu-gi-oh fanfiction as my reward-system for getting my homework for graduate school done. And guess what? It works! It is /that/ much of a pleasure to read. :) Actually, that's something of an understatement. I love your writing so much - it's so honest and warm and clever to boot and, ahhh! I could gush forever. I just wanted to thank you so much for writing them. I've been having something of rough time lately, and your stories have been wonderful diversions. That said! Fannish comments about the actual story: your headcanon is now totally my headcanon, haha. Everything about Anzu and Yugi's relationship is just yeeeesss... spot-ON, imho. (And Mai and Jou's, too.) :D Also, I think you've done such a wonderful job characterizing Sakura. (So curious as to what became of everyone else in this future! I can only hope that they'll someday be some fics that touch on it! Haha.)

Well, that was a lot of fun, and it was amusing pointing out that even without the supernatural shenanigans, the Yuugi-gang do not lead mundane lives.
