I can totally see Ginny having a similar conversation with Hermione...thanking her for helping to "make a man out of Harry" (because, really, she did have a VERY large part in helping both boys grow up!) but now it's time to cut the apron strings and let go of him a little bit! :) I'd think it would be extremely hard for Hermione to let go of him completely, after all those years of "mothering", so I don't blame her at all for trying to make sure he makes the "right" choice for his future. Loved the part about Ginny saying she'll be the one taking care of Harry's pants from now on! :) LOL Neat story idea!

this is a good story. i actually like it. normally the stories i read about Ginny, Harry and going back to Hogwarts are about ginny just begging him and being really upset. i like how you manege to have Ginny understand why Harry doesn't want to go back but at the same time you also says that she doesn't like it and she lets him know but she also won't make him change his mind. soo good job :)

I laughed so hard at these lines I startled my roommate! hahaha

"And I know you've been taking care of him and Ron for ages, especially over the last year, but Harry doesn't need you to carry his pants around in your little beaded bag any more.
